How to Get There
We were in condo 122. It has amazing views of two sides of the ocean and the pool. This sold us on this condo. We rented it through Playamoments. After reading a few reviews on here about people having trouble with them, I was nervous. They were GREAT! No problems at all. Aldo, the manager, was VERY attentive. He checked in almost daily during our 12 day stay. The kitchen is fine. We used it daily. You have a limit of six bath towels (changed out once during our stay). NO washcloths. I would have brought some if I would have known... we like to use them to wash our fast, etc. The condo was very clean. Kind of has a musty odor though. There is a whirlpool tub on the deck out the master bath, but the water is not warm out there. We put water in a big tub and filled it up with warm water from the shower. We did not get to use our beautiful patios as much as we would have liked though as the seagrass was so bad on the beach and the smell got worse each day we were there. It wasn't bad at the pool though. The pool is BEAUTIFUL! Never busy. In fact, we were many days the only ones there. They maintain it very well. If it rains, they are quick to come and pick up the cushions and then put them back out later. The hot tub is just warm, but still felt good. They do try and clean the seagrass from their beach. The water was not at all clean though. I would not wanted to swim in it right there. They have nice chairs, a sand volleyball court, and a bar with food service (we did not use it, but I heard good things about it). There is a public beach right next door that always had fishermen coming and going. It didn't bother us though. We enjoyed watching them from our condo. There is a nice, two level fitness center. Wi-fi is not the strongest, but it works. You are a few blocks to the northern end of 5th avenue. It is about a three mile walk to the end of 5th avenue. It is a beautiful shopping district though. We felt very safe and walked it daily. Many, many places to eat and shop. There is a Seven Eleven just across the street that we used daily to buy bread, eggs, drinks, etc. Their prices were decent and they had a pretty good selection for how small it is. We did walk to a Super Aki twice (can take a taxi back-about $4) and also to Walmart for groceries. Walmart is walkable, but it is a ways. We took a taxi back with our groceries. The condos had families, single people, couples-older and young... we were a family with two teenagers. It was quiet most of the time. There is a beach club across the street that plays louder music, but it didn't bother us. It might if you are on the other side of the condos though. We did not have a grill at our condo, which might have been nice. Full size refrigerator, oven, microwave, washer and dryer (we used this to bring home clean (not dirty) laundry). The king bed in the main bedroom was very firm, but we actually didn't mind it. Our kids thought the two queen beds in the other room were very comfortable. The pillows were very fluffy (a little more than we would prefer). I would highly recommend this condo!
Booked through Airbnb Condo 102 for a family holiday. Condo in great location in complex with great views across the road to the beach club and beach. It was well appointed but needed to buy an electric kettle to boil water for babies bottles. 2 bedrooms both with en-suite bathrooms which was very convenient for us. Short walk to main shopping area and an abundant choice of restaurants. Would stay here again.
We stayed here for a week with our five year old, seven year old, grandma, and Grandpa. The condo was perfect and the complex is perfect. The condos all face the pool/ocean. It is close to lots of shopping and restaurants. There are water activities steps down the beach for reasonable prices. The small private beach area is nice with lots of chairs. The pool has three depths that are perfect for the kids with a nice hot tub steps from the pool. I cannot say enough how perfect this was for our family.
Miguel was our concierge and was great. He showed us the map and marked special locations to see and what restaurants to try. He got us everything we asked for and was available 24/7. He is a great asset to the condos and made our stay even better!!!!
2 bedroom condo with living and kitchen area. Close to 5th ave and shopping. Private beach was excellent. There was an occasional noxious smell on the beach, not sure what from. We went swimming regardless. The kitchen was very small with 3 of us cooking. Air conditioning was effective in the main area, but not functional in the bedrooms.
We booked our condo through BRIC who provided good advice on which unit to book. Our rooms were spacious, clean and had a great view of the ocean. The Elements is at the end of the busy beach area so is relatively quiet compared to other hotels/condos on the beach. The pool area was never busy and the gym is nicer than most hotel gyms. When booking, I was concerned about the road between the condo and the each, but this is an access road, not a throughway, used by people accessing the beach.
By booking through BRIC we had access to the "Ambassador" (Miguel) who provided great advice on where to eat and shop and assisted us with booking tours, snorkeling, and massages. This really added value to the overall experience at The Elements.
