Lovely and comfortable with hot water but AC didn’t work
Reviewed 4 months ago

The hotel is so clean! It’s beautiful! The rooms are so comfortable!

WiFi is terrible and only works in reception!!!!!!!!

The shower is so pleasant and clean and there is hot water and the water pressure is good!

They provided organic shampoo and conditioner too! I was in heaven!

The beds are comfortable.

Our room’s AC stopped working but luckily we had the ceiling fan as a back-up. This would be an issue in the summer though.

No lift to get to the high floors.

No breakfast offered.

No water filler offered so you have to go to the supermarket across the road.

I would definitely stay here again! I feel that if the AC didn’t work next time they would be okay to move us to another room.

OK hotel, clean and newish

This hotel is trying to be very trendy and modern looking but really there is nothing outstanding about it (other than maybe that it is clean and there is plenty of hot water.) The rooms do not have balconies or chairs outside the entry. There are a couple of small patios to sit on and a rooftop bar that is not used. The pool is more decorative than functional. The beds are comfortable enough. The AC and wifi work. There are safes in the rooms but I didn't use ours so I don't know if it worked. The front desk staff did their jobs but didn't go out of their ways to be helpful.

Beautifully Decorated & Comfortable Rooms

This hotel is centrally located on the most lively streets in Playa Del Carmen. If you just step out of the hotel, the streets are lined up with best of the hotels and clubs.

Hotel staff is very courteous. Breakfast is made fresh at the live counters on top floor everyday with homemade salsa.
During our stay in 2017, there was some construction work going on in the hotel which resulted in some makeshift arrangements and early morning construction noise, but have no other complaints.

Travelers (vs vacationers) gem.

In a town that’s known for all-inclusive resorts and VRBO condos, it’s nice to find a hotel that is just rock-solid travelers’ hotel. Clean, modest rooms that are on the small side - perfect for an active trip where you need a safe, well-located, clean, quiet accommodations.

Location cannot be beat. Nice quirky place.

Unorganized 😔

The place has so much potential, but after one week, changing rooms twice, we still have no water in the sink, no hot water in the shower, inability to pay correctly, missing blackout curtains and only “I’m sorries”, to fix a problem...no solutions! Dangerous tig welding during peek hours, in the guests faces! Super dangerous! They NEED MANAGEMENT & organization!!! 😒
