Get ready to be impressed. The first thing that you realize when pulling up is that this is no ordinary hotel. It is built to provide a spectacular first impression with a view directly onto the ocean. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The service is very professional and friendly. Your days are spent by the infinity pools on site or on the pristine beachfront. Enjoy being served drinks all day long by courteous and attentive wait staff. The hotel broadcasts the perfect beach music mix. Very zen atmosphere Leave feeling relaxed and longing to return to paradise.

Beautiful, great service, close to action, but hold your ears at night!

When I saw the earplugs in the delicate mesh bag on the counter in the bathroom I should have been clued in. Rooms on the south side of the resort overlook a hopping, thumping, happening club that jams out until about 3am. The earplugs worked just fine and it didn't bother me much, but families with young children or sensitive sleepers might think carefully about this property. Otherwise, this is a very well run, beautiful property with excellent service, multiple pools, easy access to a nice beach, and a few decent restaurants. It's a one block walk to 5th ave, a long, reasonably wide pedestrian shopping center that combines "mom and pop" mexican stores with big name brand stores -- one after the other. There are plenty of store workers calling out to offer that you come check out the cigars or jewelry but they are playful, not aggressive, and you needn't feel intimidated if your an American introvert. Also plenty of bars and restaurants. Overall, great experience.

Beautiful pools & wonderful customer service

Beautiful pool area overlooking the private beach. Bar service, open restaurant, multiple pools to choose from. Service was great- waiters checked frequently to see if anything was needed. Happy faces, quick smiles, and everyone made to feel welcome. Rooms are simple (a bit overpriced for what you get) but very clean. Lights are controlled by one switch for entire suite which is a bit inconvenient as the switch is at the front door. Everything else has been perfect. Try the salmon dinner at La Cocina- it is absolutely delicious!

My wife and I were recently married at the Grand Hyatt. Anny our wedding planner made sure all our needs were met. She was wonderful and made the entire experience worth ever second spent.I recommend the Grand Hyatt to anyone looking forward to a destination wedding or for vacation.
