How to Get There
We were given a family room in the old part of the hotel. The standard was not what you expect of a five star room. The air conditioner did not work, and when I told the reception about it they said they would look at it. Nothing seemingly happened and I was not given any feedback. The
The breakfast was neither of five star quality. However, there is another breakfast hall also, where they may have a better breakfast - your room number decides where you get to eat.
On the other hand the hotel gives a very classy impression. Location is great. They have many expensive shops, they have a great pool with sea water and many nice restaurants. The beach front is also great, but the waiters/beach boys there seems somewhat less qualified than I would expect.
Every day I was offered free sun cream by the beach front, except the last day when I was stopped in action and told the sun cream was only for guests with the extra cost balinese sun bed. Made me feel like a criminal - which I do not appreciate.
We booked a package with dayspa and 2 course lunch. We were welcomed to the spa and were given some information about the procedure.
The spa area is much more tiny than expected. A small pool, a jacuzzi, four different types of ”saunas”. The good thing was there werent too many people there. We were not allowed to sit at some chairs sinxe they were reserved but no one used them at the time we were there. We were also told we had to pay 3 euro to use scrub in the sauna, which I feel like a really stupid thing since its a small amount of money and we already paid alot.
The worst thing was... seeing all the mold on the mosaic and tiles (which was everywhere)!!! Also lots of mosaic missing from the pools floor! This is a 5 star hotel and I don’t expect a 5 star hotel to look that old and disgusting. When you were standing in some of the showers all you could focus on was the mold on the walls...
We were also disturbed by kids (and adults) splashing and playing in the pool so we had to ask them to stop. Many people on their phones everywhere, did not feel so relaxed.
The staff were friendly. But we would have wish for a better explanation of things since we many times had to wonder what to do now, should we go somewhere, are we waiting on someone?
After the spa we went up 2 floors for a salt cave. This was a white room with 7 beds and soft music for only relaxation, but still annoying sounds from lights and people outside. One hour in this room was too much.
Then came the 30 min massage which was really nice and it felt alot longer then 30 minutes!
We got into showers and then went to the restaurant where we got to pick 2 courses from a menu. The food was really good and big portions. Price of drinks not too high. Took a while to get the food but it was worth the wait. Nice view over ocean.
This day was okey but nothing more. I would not go there again. I did not get the luxury feeling I was hoping for.
The hotel is amazing, straight on the Baltic beach. The room very clean and comfortable. Exelent breakfast with see view. Nice spa center with swimingpool. In Hotel is also amazing Restourant with fantastic food. Hightly recomend!
I’m very glad that hotel have finally created kids club, which allowed us to enjoy drink on a sunny beach, while our little one was having fun time with other children! Especially I would like to thank Natalie and Lera, who proactively were inviting kids to join in and even my usually shy girl, couldn’t wait to go again next day!
Wonderful stay at Baltic Beach hotel as always, and pleased to see that hotel keeps on improving.
Everything you need for relaxing vacations in one area - beautiful rooms, excellent service, four restaurants, private beach, spa and of course Baltic Sea! I very much recommend it for all my friends.
