How to Get There
Reading through the reviews you knew this was not going to be a typical hotel. I checked in late and Kiel was very nice processing my reservation - he told me they no longer had the ability to cool the room as only the heating worked. Very typical of older buildings.
My room smelled a bit heavy of cleaner when I walked in but was nice and clean. Definitely furnishings going for a retro look. My room card was even a David Byrne college id knockoff - funny touch.
Within 30 minutes of checkin Kiel had texted me to make sure everything was good with my room, a nice touch.
Would definitely stay here again, it certainly wasn't the typical hotel chain room but that was a good thing.
The first room they gave me on the 16th floor the bedsheets were full of hairs human hairs I complained they gave me a second room that was just as dirty. If you’re over the age of 21 don’t waste your time with this hotel it’s for kids it’s a party hotel and the night manager Alexander in my opinion has a drinking problem and on the job drinking problem. If you need a hotel room in Providence Rhode Island I strongly recommend you avoid the graduate hotel that used to be the Biltmore. This hotel has no amenities there’s no restaurants in the hotel there’s no room service in the hotel. I implore all people over the age of 21 go to a grown-up hotel. Surly front desk staff and every person in that hotel that work there that I passed in the hallway or whatever never had anything to say like hello have a nice day enjoy your stay even the employees don’t like being there in my opinion.
Loved this place! Unique decor, amazing staff and great espresso downstairs.
Our only issue was housekeeping threw away a bag that has some new items in it. Partly our fault for placing on the floor near the trashcans.
