How to Get There
We chose the package deal for three nights which included; room views to Uluru, buffet breakfast in the restaurant and free use of the laundry. (Free for all guests anyway), dinner for two under the stars and tickets to Field of Lights. This motel is very conveniently located next to the entry road and 4 min walk to the village centre. The room was very nice with plenty of space and a balcony to enjoy happy hour on. Very clean and well presented. We enjoyed our stay and have no complaints. It was expensive for a three night stay but we considered it a one off special occasion for us.
We stayed in the Desert gardens Rock View room for 5 nights and found the hotel really good. Lovely rooms with a view of the rock- we didn't go on the balcony very much though as we were out all day and really, you can see the rock from EVERYWHERE! The only criticisms were that the rooms were serviced quite late in the day sometimes and we were wanting to have a rest and the bathrooms didn't have much storage even though they are very large. But lovely to stay in these rooms .
Stayed here for 2 nights in June. Room was adequate, bed was very comfortable. Had a room overlooking Uluru but the balcony was so shabby and dirty I didn’t want to go out there but it was nice to sit in a chair inside and look out. Bathroom shabby too. Carpet needs a clean. Best thing about the resort is the staff - super friendly.
Enjoyable and the resort and staff were wonderful and the drivers for kings we great. The amenities were first class and food especially for breakfast were what you expect from accor resorts.
It was a great experience to see how beautiful ayres rock and the olgars are and to be looked after as a world class heritage.
We stayed here for 3 nights and everything was great. Check in was quick - although I did manage to beat the rush! Our room was ready even though we arrived well before the 3.00pm check in time, so that was a bonus. The room itself was large and comfortable. 2 double beds, we would have preferred 1 queen but really that's not a huge deal. The beds were comfy and there was a choice of pillows. Everything was clean and tidy, the bathroom was good size and clean. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. We ate in the bar/bistro 1 night and the food was fine. It is in a good location, only a short walk to the Town Centre and also over to the Pioneer Outback Hotel. Some rooms have views of Uluru - we didn't stay in one of these, but if that's important to you they are on offer. I would def recommend staying here and if we return would stay here again.
