Exceeded our expectations
Reviewed 1 day ago

This hotel was excellent. Our arrival was before the check in time, but the reception staff reallocated some rooms so that we could check in straight away without needing to wait. We had pre-booked some excursions and the reception staff confirmed these for us, including the pick up times.
The room was spacious and included all the standard items you would expect. The bathroom had a good sized walk in shower.
The pool was very refreshing in the heat and was well stocked with towels.
Breakfast was very good with a wide variety of hot and cold options available.

Stunning setting but hotel resting on its laurels

Uluru and it’s lesser known sister Kata Tjuta are well worth the effort of a detour to Yulara but the resort is tired and in need of a tidy up. Having said that, our room was lovely; spacious and clean.

Short and sweet

For both our stay and our comments.
This hotel has all the amenities that you would expect from this calibre and location.
My main thoughts are that we paid extra for a room with the view of Uluru and were located in 389 where the view is blocked by a bush right by the patio completely restricting the view.
The patio was not cleaned while we were there which meant paper that had blown in was just left there along with the cigarette ends left in the ash tray supplied.
The final straw came when having paid for a cooked breakfast we were told it only included one barrista coffee and that only arrived once we spoke to the the assistant manager having made several requests to our waitress over the 40 minutes we waited.
I would also like to take the opportunity to point out that having been recently refurbished there is no where in the bathroom to hang the towelling dressing gown that is supplied and I feel that the bathroom would benefit from some subdued lighting.

Surprise Wedding Anniversary trip
Reviewed 2 days ago

We were taken here back in April 2017as a 25th Wedding anniversary gift by freinds we were visiting in Coffs Harbour, NSW. We hadn't a clue where we were going until we got to the airport.

I was trying to imagine what it was like on the plane but if far exceeded my expectations. The hotel staff were so accomodating and helpful, the meals were delicious and the rooms were comfortable.

There was plenty to do in the small compless of the resort as well as excursions including the "Sounds of Silence", dining out in the open of the outback, eating traditional food including ostrich and Kangarro steaks, not everyones choice but you don't go here to eat fish and chips. There was also "The Field of light", a man made piece of art by Bruce Munro, outstanding to see and walk through.

Trip of a lifetime

We stayed for 4 nights. The hotel and staff were excellent and always willing to help. The pool was refreshing after long tours. They kept the towels stocked up for pool use. The room was very comfortable. All the facilities in the resort were within 5 mins walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel.
