Whatever you choose, this paradise will give you a good time.
How to Get There
We arrived at the hotel following many recommendations on Facebook.
The pool complex is beautiful and there is a sea and a Jacuzzi on the sea which really seduced us to choose it for a weekend stay.
The attitude of reception officials was reasonable.
Clean room but also give a jug with water in which there were some dirt it does not respect a guest.
Rooms were unusually moist (all my professional makeup brushes got wet from the room).
A suitcase full of wet clothes.
Attitude in the dining room was unpleasant and did not give everything coming and not fresh. You can skip breakfast there. (In addition, they asked for a tip claiming that the food was free but did not include service)
Location: Distance from 3 km, you need to take a 75 pesos taxi to reach the ferry or downtown.
There is no convenience store nearby which offers coffee or other things that is a big minus.
Not recommended for those looking for good service and accessibility to the city center.
We were on the Disney Fantasy cruise, we took a taxi to Hotel B.
Definitely seems to be a crew hangout as we were recommended by my sister who works on the ship and quite a few other crew members were there.
The cost for a day pass is $30 (plus $1 extra) for WiFi. This works out at MXP 400 to spend on F&B. This was great value in my opinion. Margaritas were around MXP 85 and you can get a decent lunch for MXP 120 or less.
The pool is nice and so is the jacuzzi and the pontoon you can swim out to.
From reception, the pool is reached by a winding wooden staircase which gets very slippery if it's been raining. I fell and luckily didn't seriously hurt myself.
This is a great hotel that definitely has a "boutique" feel, from the arts and crafts decor to the small (about 35 rooms?) size. The oceanfront setting is stunning - even their own pics on their website do not do it justice.
The room was good sized with a comfortable king bed and nice linens. The air conditioning was efficient and reliable, though you didn't really need it if you opened the large sliding window to let the ocean breeze in.
They have a nice variety of places to relax - by the pool, in the hot tub on the rocks above the ocean, or on the sandy area filled with lounge chairs and daybeds. The entire property is kept impeccably clean.
We had breakfast in the restaurant almost every day, as well as afternoon poolside snacks a few days and two dinners. The food was good and the ceviches, their specialty, were exceptional.
The best part about Hotel B is the staff. The people running the front desk, the restaurant and bar staff, housekeeping, and the groundskeepers were all incredibly friendly and attentive. They were there with whatever we needed, without ever seeming like they were intruding. And it's really nice to see the same friendly faces every day - it feels almost like you get to know them a little. By day two they knew our preferences and schedule. The guys who brought drinks to the pool area would have another ready just as we finished the first, and housekeeping never even had to knock - they just knew when we were gone for a while and got it done while we were out. The front desk even managed to quickly find a pair of needle-nosed pliers for some emergency sunglasses repair and get a red wine stain out of my partner's white dress. Fantastic service all the way around.
I visited this hotel for breakfast and to use their facilities. You get such a good deal when you come here!! You pay $30 which then goes towards your food and drinks bill. The staff were so nice too, so when I wanted to settle up, they said I still had money left over so offered food to go or some bottled water! Lovely spot, i shall definitely be coming back
We spent 4 days in this hotel and it looks just as good if not better than on the pictures. Our room (409) had the most breathtaking sea view we ever experienced. The hotel grounds are beautiful, well-kept and just like in paradise. The staff is very polite and friendly, service is great, food is a bit blend but still very good. the hotel reef is good for some morning snorkeling and the pool area is also very nice/ideal for relaxation. All in all, we had a wonderful stay at Hotel B :)
