How to Get There
This resort was very charming. The junior suite was large and had a wonderful ocean view balcony. I wouldn’t say it needed remodeled for that’s what gives it its Italian charm. However, the furnishings for me were not comfortable. The super hard bed and pillows were a difficultly and the sofa had seen much better days. The bistro set on the balcony did not support a relaxation area which was a missed opportunity. The steam shower was awesome once we figured out how to use it. There are two restaurants on site, both were wonderful. The food was amazing, the best food I’ve ever had at an all inclusive. Again the restaurant seating was not comfortable. The service for the most part was great. .
The one thing that was a little upsetting at first was getting our room. We took a lot of time emailing and making sure the transition to this resort went smooth. They advertise no check in or check out times, so we arrived before 12. We did not expect to receive our room at 4pm. They should clarify that up front. Overall the experience was a good one. We would return if more comfortable beds and furniture are changed.
We chose Villa Rolandi to celebrate my husbands 65th birthday. We were looking for a small resort for rest and relaxation. We picked the perfect spot!
The resort did everything to make my husbands birthday special!
Room: We had a beautiful room. We loved our view and the hot tub on the patio. Our mini bar was stocked Daily and housekeeping was great! I loved the turn down service complete with mats by our beds that said “sweet dreams”
Food: We loved the food! We had a private dinner on the patio for my husbamds birthday. We ordered lobster. It was perfect and romantic! Both restaurants were great! We loved the views while we were eating. We enjoyed the nightly music in the restaurants.
Staff: We can’t say enough about the staff. Everyone was kind and helpful. Always a smile on their faces. We loved sitting on the beach and having food and drinks delivered to our chairs. Room service was always served with a smile.
Spa: We enjoyed several massages at the Spa.
The couples hot stone massage was our favorite. Jorge was wonderful and so helpful in finding the perfect massages for my husband.
We rented a golf cart for a day. It was so much fun! We went shopping, stopped for a drink at the Soggy Pesi and went down to Punta Sur. It was so much fun. On the way back to the resort we found a reggae bar. Live music and great drinks. Loved it!
The next morning we got up early to go see the sunrise. We are so happy we went. It was so beautiful. That day we got to see a beautiful sunrise and sunset. So cool!
If you are looking for a quiet place to relax, with the best staff and great food this is the place for you!
My husband wants to return every year for his birthday!
What an amazing trip we just had to Zoetry Villa Rolandi. The resort is wonderful, with fantastic rooms, two great restaurants, and a staff that can't be beat.
For the moment we arrived into Mexico they took care of everything, leaving the airport our driver was waiting for us, who brought us to the meeting place for the boat over to the island. What a view on the yacht headed to the resort.
Once at the resort we were welcomed immediately by Ana and Alexander who could not of been more welcoming, informing us all about our vacation ahead, and even offering us a beverage while we check in, of course we opted for Champagne. From there the service and luxury never wavered: from Carlos and Jaurez the staff on the beach remembering not only your name but also your drink and food of choice, to the amazing staff at both restaurants, you were made to feel special and at home.
This is the perfect spot to relax and get pampered in Mexico, they even provided a balcony dinner set up on our last night so we can eat while enjoying our killer view!!
We will be back soon!!
The resort and staff are excellent. Loved everything about the resort. When I arrived in Cancun I was told by my transfer company that the boat was not running and I would need to take the ferry. Ferry was fine but it would have been nice to be greeted by the resort upon my arrival to Isla Mujeres. Not sure who dropped the ball....Amstar or Zoetry!
This is a small all-inclusive (35 rooms). Very quiet, lovely setting, attentive staff. The food was unusual and delicious. The setting is beautiful- infinity pool and views across the way to Cancun were always interesting and changing. We felt very safe touring the island in a golf cart!
