How to Get There
My boyfriend and I had the best spa experience we’ve ever had at The Village Spa on site, the secluded relaxing environment was incredible and our welcome by Luz made the start very relaxing. Our massages by Nelly & Isaias were mind blowing and we are still smiling from it.
Awesome staff! Awesome spa ! Massage with Noemy& WILLIAM! We have been going here 6 yrs now! Brought 6 friends this time! Do all inclusive for 3 days then just relax! Check out Isla Mujeres ! Rent a cart and drive the island ! Great lobster prices!
We had traveled to Villa del Palmar a year ago, and decided to return again this year. The trip itself was lovely, but one thing that stood out to us on this trip was how one person went above and beyond to make our vacation memorable. Ivan Bautista (of Davino's Italian restaurant) made our trip so incredibly special. Besides being personable and sharing his great sense of humor with us on our first night at Davino's (and every night that we returned), Ivan made us feel so welcome in Mexico. He encouraged us in practicing our not-so-great (but improving!) Spanish skills, made some excellent meal recommendations, kept us laughing and smiling, and even made us a special final dessert before our departure. The dessert was equally amazing to watch being made (the amount of skill involved was quite impressive) as it was to eat. The coffee, flaming strawberries, and beautifully decorated dessert plate made us feel so special. We can't say thank you enough to Ivan for making our vacation one that we will always remember and look back on with a smile.
Had a wonderful stay at Villa Del Palmar! Loved relaxing by the pool, swimming in the ocean (the seaweed is in right now which makes the beach not as great, but staff were out each morning clearing what they could and raking/ combing the beach) enjoyed Zumba at the pool each day with Pepe. He was so enthusiastic and fun to dance with! Enjoyed the pool volleyball. Loved the live music each night and the Urban Show is one you should definitely catch! A few tips:
-Bring a yeti type cup to keep drinks cold.
Pack a pool float and they will blow it up for you at the resort.
Bring extra sunscreen, and a hat.
Take the ferry over to Isla Mujeres and spend the day on Playa Norte the most beautiful beach in Mexico.
Our favorite meals were at Davino (Tuna Rosa, and Pasta Carbonara) and La Cosana (beef tenderloin, and pork belly). Bite Bar: Shrimp ceviche, wings, and pizza.
You should get the all- inclusive package if you are able it is worth it! We had great service or favorite waiters were Leonel at Caprichos and Enrique for poolside service. Thanks for a memorable trip!
We had such a wonderful experience at Villa del Palmar it is definitely a very beautiful and private resort. I have been to other resorts in Cancun and there’s no other like this one, the food is extremely delicious. The customer service is excellent!! We made the best decision of having her wedding there and are forever grateful! Thank you Alma and Gaby!
