Stark, sexy Miami minimalism frames the golden sand and glowing sea; a three-pool complex, bamboo spa garden and tranquil lagoon complete the picture. Romance and relaxation kick off in the slick marble lobby, where check-in is completed over bubbly on a white daybed wrapped in gauzy white drapery. Infinity pool is a phrase tossed around pretty loosely on this beach, but Le Blanc delivers a curvaceous three-pool complex that appears to hover over the sand and sea. The views are maximized by the resort’s layout along the three sides of a low-rise triangular building that is angled around a gurgling fountain and towering atrium. The guest rooms and suites on two sides look at the Caribbean; the third side looks out over a pool and a tropical lagoon. Each room is an exercise in romance, where private balconies and double Jacuzzi tubs are standard (suites add outdoor plunge pools and open-air living rooms). A bath butler keeps it steamy, room service is 24/7, and the minibar is stocked with top shelf bottles, including Gran Centenario Reposado tequila. Le Blanc delivers over-the-top amenities with style and service to spare, but what separates it from every other all-inclusive on the beach is its gourmet dining. BlancItalia serves traditional trattoria fare such as eggplant parmigiana and seafood linguine overflowing with mussels, clams, shrimp and octopus; don’t skip the bruschetta, which is made to order tableside and served with a selection of antipasti such as shaved capriole. The seven-course tasting menu at Lumière is an adventure in gastronomy, employing fresh shrimp, octopus, snapper, beef, lamb and fois gras with traditional French flavors and preparations. On more casual nights, BlancInternational has Asian and Mexican fare served in an elegant buffet. Better yet, hole up in your suite and have a made-to-order meal served on your balcony.
In the Area
You won’t have to venture far to find one of the best spas on the beach. Don’t skip a hydrotherapy session in LeBlanc’s sumptuous 19-suite spa, followed by a four-hand Kukulcan Mayan massage, which evokes sacred rituals of the Yucatan’s pre-Columbian residents. Continue your exploration of the area’s ancient history with a daytrip to the ruins of Chichen Itza, site of the stunning Temple of Kukulcan, built in honor of the snake deity worshipped by a number of Mesoamerican cultures. From June through September the clear, blue waters off Cancún host the largest aggregation of whale sharks on the planet, offering experienced snorkelers the opportunity to swim side by side with the spotted behemoths in the open sea MUSA Underwater Museum.

Mary and I have stayed at Le Blanc many times. This was the first time since the renovations. Frankly, since this was already the best hotel in Cancun, I didn't think they could make it any better. Well they did! The thoughtful redesign and upgrades are beautiful. The new menus, restaurants, and desert bars are fabulous. The spa is ever so relaxing, just wonderful. And, as always the staff are spectacular. Anyone that has visited Mexico knows that the Mexican people are extremely gracious hosts. But the staff at Le Blanc raise that to a different level. Our room was impeccably cleaned by Rosario. Her attention to detail was unsurpassed. Lucinda and Laura, the pool concierges, were always one step ahead of us with clean dry towels, cold water, and anything else we needed. Janette, a waitress at the pool was always there with great drinks, snacks, and a warm smile. Every one of the butlers knew our names and went out of their way to help us even though they were assigned on different floors. They are amazing. The same goes for Elias one of the lobby bartenders. Always smiling and making you feel special. Lastly, I'd like to thank Janai Valdez, Le Blanc's manager. He does a fabulous job managing a truly remarkable hotel and should be proud of himself and the exceptional staff at Le Blanc.
Le Blanc Cancun 2019 review
We were so anxious to see the newly remodeled Le Blanc Cancun, so as soon as it was completed we went back.
We have been enjoying Cancun Le Blanc every year since 2012. We were happy to find improvements and changes.
The Lumiere is not the favorite number one rather, now our favorite is the Italian. It not only offers an amazing genuine and delicious Italian menu but the service is so professional, kind and accommodating to the point that they make you feel so welcome.
Our favorite waiter is Manuel because he not only remembered our first and last names but also will answer any question you may have about the menu and makes the most wise suggestions. On top of his charms he has a wonderful sense of humor and he knows how to make you feel special. We always request to be seated in the area where Manuel will be waiting and he always makes sure we have an amazing experience. The impressive thing about Manuel is that he is great with every person that comes to his area.
My favorite activities are in the fitness department. They offer multiple classes such as Yoga, Pilates and reformer Pilates, TRX, cycling, water spinning and aerobics, upper and lower weight training, dance etc, etc.
There are three super well trained certified instructors. The manager of the fitness department is Yassel. She has been in charge for many years, at least since I started coming up in 2012. Yassel teaches multiple classes. I very much enjoyed her Yoga, TRX, Pilates classes. Not only she is professional and knowledgeable but sweet and kind. I am really looking forward seeing Yassel every year.
Omar is also great in Yoga, TRX, weight training, and dance classes. Omar sparks enthusiasm with his amazing energy. Omar will encourage you to go to the next level in your workout, whatever your choice may be: weight training, TRX, Yoga, etc.
Arturo recently joined the team and I was happy I have him as my weight lifting trainer. Arturo put together a series of resistance workout for both lower and upper body that really made the difference in my physical condition. Back home I still follow Arturo’s workout. It is very effective.
I’m really looking forward to seeing these inspiring people. We are already making plans to come back to Le Blanc Cancun again next year.
The manicure and pedicure service at The Spa is normally excellent, but it was disappointing this time, because the lady (Patricia) only gave me a very superficial manicure and pedicure without removing any cuticle, she could do better. This is the only time I have been disappointed about anything at the Le Blanc Cancun.
My husband and I loved the back massage for two.
2nd time there this year and had a great experience again. Service was top notch. The pool concierge Lucinda and Laura we’re both fantastic. Beach waiter Rafael was very attentive and made sure we always had drinks. Blanc Luna pool and Yama waiter Christian Reyes was the best! He always remembered what everyone in the group wanted to drink by the pool and provided us with excellent service for dinner at Yama. We all can’t wait to head back!
