You’ll find vacation musts like on-the-sand cocktail service, water sports and 24/7 room service, as well as beachside dining at the restaurant, El Caribeño, and the region’s largest collection of tequilas at Tequila Bar Collection & Terrace. Unwind by one of the hotel’s two pools or get an outdoor massage under a palapa. In your room expect a fully stocked minibar and a flat-screen TV; Club Level rooms also include a complimentary breakfast and afternoon canapés and drinks, plus private terraces with ocean views.
In the Area
The hotel offers plenty of activities, including jet-skiing, water-skiing, snorkeling and sailing right off the beach, plus the free ChiquiClub for kids from four to nine. For those looking to explore beyond the property, the concierge recommends a stroll through Mercado 28, a flea market that sells works by local artists; swinging your clubs at one of the region’s 13 professional-level golf courses; and dinner along the Bojorquez Lagoon at the Belgian/French restaurant La Palapa Belga.

This is a very nice place to stay and perfect for business travel. Rooms are clean and have comfortable beds. The best thing of this hotel is the beach with super soft sand and incredible ocean view. The pool area is little and can be improved.
The food is really good but definitely overpriced.
Not only is this a beautiful superbly 5***** location, but the best kept secret in Quintana Roo! And the secret? The Lobby bartender Christian makes each guest and visitor feel as though he or she is the only person in the secluded bar. His pleasant attitude, genuine smile, happy demeanor wash away the intensity of a a long day of touring. Christian is a genius at mixology with many lovely tricks as pouring the liquor down a long stir stick to create a waterfall entering your glass, he uses a mild pepper rim coating, rather than crispy salt for margarita rims. When a new bottle of wine needed to be brought from another bar, his profuse apologies for the momentary wait showed exquisite staff training. His smile is meant to make each client feel special. One customer walked in and said, "You know the last time I was here I had a refreshing fruit style cocktail..." No more words needed! Christian said, "I remember!" and decribed it in full detail ... that's perfection!
I almost liked everything here! Similar to almost any other intercontinental. Service was good, room and lounge were nice. And I really enjoyed their pool/beach area. Highly recommend.
The only thing was even though the room was nice enough but it’s not a two room suite and there were not enough privacy for the bathroom/shower area! So it wasn’t ideal for me.
