Family-friendly resort in Cancun's Hotel Zone with four restaurants, three pools and a fun rooftop scene

The Look

Contemporary design meets modern comfort at this family-friendly resort. In the dual-level lobby, curvaceous furnishings face exotic fish tanks, and local art adorns the walls. Floor-to-ceiling windows afford views of the sprawling grounds from dining rooms with backlit wall designs, marble tiles and light rattan or wood chairs. For uninterrupted ocean views, make your way to the rooftop Sky Floor, where two of the resort’s three pools have swim-up bars.

Bed and Bath

Blond hardwood bed frames, marble-topped dressers and tiled floors create a less-is-more beach vibe in the spacious rooms, and private outdoor balconies are furnished with cushioned loungers. Double-size Jacuzzi tubs stocked with Chi products heighten the romance in Deluxe rooms and suites; add-ons in Concierge Level rooms include L’Occitane amenities, two massages at the spa and petit fours at turn-down.

Traditional Mexican dishes are offered at the international breakfast and lunch buffet at Tequila, one of four on-site restaurants and bars. Lunch can be as casual as poolside burgers and fries or as sophisticated as a Mediterranean feast at Bocelli. For dinner, choose between Japanese cuisine at Wok and Italian-style steaks at La Terraza. And if you get a huevos rancheros craving at 2 a.m. just call room service: it’s available 24 hours. During the day, kids do their thing on the water slide, and cocktails are served around three lounger-lined pools. Aloe-based treatments at the intimate spa soothe sun-kissed skin, and the Stadium Bar hosts live entertainment and streams sports on 16 flat-screen TVs.

First week of Mexican holiday
Reviewed 2 days ago

We stayed at the Beach Palace 5th - 12th December with our 2nd week being at the Grand at the Moon Palace. We visited the Beach Palace last year for a day when we stayed at the Grand and thought it would be worth a visit this time round.

The beach is gorgeous albeit was red flagged every day we were here. This still allowed us to get in the water though and have a swim close to the shore.

Friendly staff who go out of their way to assist you. Erika from the front desk and Karol from PR were very helpful when we first arrived and I would like to thank them for assisting us after a 10hr 20min flight!!

The spa is fantastic and I would recommend a treatment if you can. Wendy gave me an aromatherapy massage which was really relaxing and enjoyable.

The hotel is close to La Isla shopping mall which is very handy.

Clean Resort, Service Lacking
Reviewed 3 days ago

Beach Palace was a clean resort which lacked service from most staff at all restaurants. Rooms and resort were clean. Food was mediocre at best. Italian Restaurant was the best of all the choices. The other restaurants were not very good. Breakfast service was dismal. For the price, there was no value.

Amazing holiday

We have been to Mexico 3 times before but only to Riveria Maya which was lovely but this time we thought that we would try Cancun for a change and we absolutely loved it. The hotel was just lovely and our view was breath taking. The staff at the hotel could not have made us feel more welcome, especially Gabriella who did the morning omelettes who always had a smile on her face and was so friendly and welcoming, the entertainment staff were also very friendly (we have never been to a hotel with such friendly staff) especially Armando and Luis who would come over and involve us in the activities, so friendly.
The food was outstanding, especially the chineese.
The dollars that you recieve to spend in the hotel are my only gripe they should be explained more and are a bit of a ploy to get you to go and see Time shares.
Over all our holiday was fantastic and I would definalty go back.

We have been to moon palace sunrise, moon palace grand and the beach palace. Without a doubt the food at the beach palace was utterly exquisite. The best I have had out of the three. Diamond member Dennis Scorica
