How to Get There
Spent one night in this place during a business trip.
Fantastic quiete and relaxing place out of any noisy.
When you enter it seems that you are in the past and the time is stopped.
Everything is clean and in proper order.
Allowing several outdoor activities like swimming in the pool, walking or relaxing in the park. There is also a farm and a short track for jogging.
Really a great place with very kind personnel.
Tasty hacienda breakfast.
Hope to return soon.
I kindly raccomand this hotel. I had a short experience, just one night but it was very good. Friendly staff, tidy room, clean and with essentail needs. Perfect location for business convention and meeting.
I was really disappointed on my last visit.
I have visited the hotel since I was born (31 years old). Hen I was around 8 years old I saw a wedding there and I knew I wanted to get married there, 28 years later I made it, I got married at the hacienda, it was an amazing wedding, with spectacular photos. I'm going to tell you something, I'm glad I got married before its remodeling, because if it had been as it is today, I would not have done it, even if it had been my dream; the hotel looks horrible, it lost all the history, the coziness, the wonderful spaces now are all cluttered. You tried to make a "modern" hotel, but now it looks terrible, a mixture of styles that have nothing to do between each, the Bar looks like a kitsch stable so bulky and bad made, with a carpet that looks dirty and is a visual pain. Let me tell you, your interior designer fooled you, and just charged you to make a disaster! I can not believe they let a person, or an office, made such a mess, it's like if they had no idea of what the hacienda history is.
To finish with the disappointment, we went to the farm, IN WHAT BAD CONDITION YOU HAVE THE POOR ANIMALS! With so much remodeling and you could't spend a little bit of the budget to keep the animals in good condition, seriously, instead of changing the floor of the terrace of the pool, you could have invested that in their farm. It's a shame, one of the poor donkeys has hairless parts, the hens have no feathers, the peacocks used to be loose, they are now caged in a micro-cage, the mare tied to a tree with half a meter of rope, she can't move, just like the horse next to the cow, the goats have their knees hurt, the cow is in a tiny space, alone. The cages are in terrible condition, broken with lose metals that are a hazard to animals, the floor is in terrible conditions, they is almost no shade for animals to get sheltered, it smells horrible (not the normal barn smell, no, it smells like an abandoned animal). They should consider disappearing their farm, it's a cruelty !!
The only thing still good about the hotel is the staff, but the truth is that, it doesn't matter the good memories I have of the hotel, my wedding, Christmas and new year with family, my proposal of marriage, I think I won't be coming back.
The place is amazing, everything is so well maintained, the facilities are outstanding but the food is the best! Believe me, this was such an amazing experience, the perfect place to rest, party, organize a training or you name it!
We stayed for one night:
Pros: Good food ate at the restaurant for dinner had the buffet, not a lot of variety but what was there had great taste, (basically grilled steaks, pasta, salads, baked veges, some deserts). Breakfast buffet was awesome included samosas and bloody Mary's. Ordered room service sandwiches were tasty (FYI tip is included in the prices for room service)
Room was newly renovated and very nice
Nice size pool and several activities for kids inside the pool and out (animal farm, bond fire, and tour)
Buffets are more expensive compared to others in Querétaro (breakfast buffet was about $500 with tip included per person)
Not stroller friendly
Overall would recommend!
