How to Get There
Le Petit - We chose this hotel for the size and the location; both are perfect. We like our hotels to be small and gorgeous - but with all the comforts of home - and Le Petit certainly met the criteria! Our room was large, clean and comfortable and although there are no coffee making facilities these are readily available at all times next to reception. There are lots of bars and restaurants along the same street, and it is really central for sightseeing. We enjoyed our stay here and would certainly go back.
Charming hotel on our favourite street!
Easy friendly check in!
Lots of breakfast food of pastries and toast and fruit salad !
The room we had was high up and lovely and spacious ! The bed was extremely comfortable!!
Lovely hotel in old town. Near great restaurants and other attractions. I would highly recommend for couples looking to make a romantic retreat, or just to get away. Staff was always helpful and cheery. This was my first trip to Montreal, and would likely book this hotel again, if returning.
We really love the location and staff at this little hotel in the Old Port. Our bed and bedding resulted in great sleep, and the shower is so luxurious. The simple, continental breakfast is so much nicer than any other hotel in this price class, that we've ever stayed at: croissant, coffee made to order, fresh fruit, bagels, toast, granola, yogurt. We always took ours to our room.
We had a medium corner room, away from the busy street, on the 3rd floor (302) with large windows and plenty of space for the two of us. It did run a little cool due to high, winter winds during our February visit. We had access to the thermostat, so we just turned it up, although that meant the on/off cycling of the forced air could be drying and noisy. We've stayed in another room in 2018 with fewer windows that was a little cozier in winter. There was some construction happening in the room next to us: hammering and drilling. It was generally low volume, but on Monday morning we heard them get started at 8am, which was a bit early for us, noise-wise, given that we were on vacation.
We will definitely return.
We loved this hotel. Our room overlooked the Rue Saint Paul with windows that we could open to look out, which we did quickly because it was -20. The. We shut them and enjoyed the view from the small table with a glass of wine. (Which was in the room and reasonably priced and good.) room had gorgeous exposed beams and stone walls that we loved. Bed left a lot to be desired as it was saggy on two sides with a hump in the middle... Shower was nice, enjoyed a long massaging shower, while my husband slept peacefully one night. We had plenty of room for all our stuff - as we stopped in Montreal for two nights en route to Mont Tremblant and had all our snowboarding stuff with us... the cleaning staff did an excellent job, especially after we tracked in slug from snowy streets late our first night after coming home from Igloofest and failing to take off boots at door. Would stay here again for sure!
