How to Get There
Very well situated hotel in the heart of downtown with a lovely lobby and reception, including a great bar with a very inviting sitting area. Though I've only visited the property common areas and explored its shops and amenities- it's impressive. Plenty of amenities and easy access to any service and convenience required. If you're looking to do a little shopping there's also a great family run jewellery store with impressive high end brand jewellery located a floor below the lobby (Pax Jewellers). They truly pride themselves on what they do and their expertise and knowledge definitely comes throughh-worth a visit. My limited experience with staff seemed friendly enough, and the valet guys were polite and efficient. Yves at the lobby bar is awesome, and you can count on him for service with a smile!
I stayed at the Le Centre Sheraton for four (4) nights. The service, at check-in was prompt and professional. The room and bed was comfortable and the room was a good size, with a pleasant view of the street and city (10th floor). The property is obviously well cared for and the room was very clean. I was particularly impressed with the Bistro Le Boulevard. I went there for lunch one day, as I didn't have a great deal of time and it was quite cold outside. I wasn't expecting much. But, in fact, the service and the quality of the meal, risotto, was wonderful. The risotto was well made with a delicious selection of fresh, steamed, vegetables. I liked the restaurant so much that I returned for lunch on two more occasions and also had breakfast there one morning. The only downside to dining at the Bistro is that the configuration of the hotel entrance and the bistro lets cold air in to the dinning area making it a little uncomfortable at times. I would encourage the restaurant to consider installing a curtain or glass door at the entrance to the restaurant. The staff at the Cafe Bar too were very helpful, promptly and ably accommodating a rush of conference participants during a break (I was one of them) and seeking coffee. Check-out too was prompt and courteous. All in all, it was a very pleasant stay and it is apparent that the property is well managed.
We stayed at Sheraton Hotel for 6 nights and wish to go back for another stay soon! The service upon our check in was excellent. The staff was very patient and kind, and gave us an early check in with a nice room. We got a great room with city view at high floor. During our stay, we enjoyed ourselves at Sheraton Club and also, the Christmas decorations at the hotel were nice too. Sheraton is currently having their rooms renovation till April 2019, so it was a bit noisy sometimes. However, this did not affect our stay.
I am going 4 stars because of the gentleman who made lattes for me each day at the bar. The service was excellent and he is just a super pleasant person. Thank you!
My room was standard. Light was broken in the bathroom and toilet was running. They fixed the light but the toilet ran my whole visit. The bathroom counter was nice and large. I wasn’t a fan of the shower head but it did the trick. I was high up floor wise and found the street noise surprisingly loud and elevator noise hard the first night but after that I guess I got used to it. The bed, pillows and linens were very good. What I liked a lot was the ample amount of USB plugs for charging devices. Super to see a room with multiple plugs and in good places. And thanks for having an Alarm clock that doesn’t light up the entire room at night, love that! TV and other amenities were good. I had breakfast one morning in the restaurant and although the service was great the cost was really high for a few simple poached eggs and rye toast... it was over $20 with a tip!!! I would definitely stick to the bar side where they make great lattes and have a good selection of foods. I had lunch there once also and it was good. Location is great for the Bell centre and it is downtownish so you can get to the Old Montreal and the shopping easy enough. It’s a good value and I would definitely stay here again. I am back in Montreal next week and I might stop in for latte!
A good standard Sheraton hotel, very convenient to the downtown shopping area and the Bell Center. The lobby was contemporary, staff was efficient and the rooms were quite nice, modern but a bit small. I also found the furniture worn and chipped, the A/C noisy and there were no bathrobes. Overall, there was value for the money. Would recommend!
