We booked with Booking and from our arrival we were informed, that we have changed online for a double bed and that we will have to pay $ 75 per day. I explain that we book for 3 peoples and we never changed anything online. Jennifer states" Booking never advise you? " I say no" I argue and I was not been charge for the extra..But wait there have much more.-The first night was very noisy . -At 3 am, a young teenager ran in the hallway shouting and with a very loud music The second night the noise remain the same.I asked to see the director who could hear the noise in our" new room"his response shocked me He politely advised me that I needed to understand the situation since it was" 4/20" and they had a lot of Americain-Few minutes later a concierge brings to us ear plugs-The 3rd nigus the President suite wish is absolute stunning. As a parent we sleep really well because we slept on the second level but my son told us the noise outside was about the same.

When here for a week on business for a trade show. Arrival was good staff was friendly hotel looks nice from first impressions. The hotel is huge, but rooms themselves are quite small. The first room they gave me was on the ground floor by the garden which you would think is a good idea but the ants in my room were too much to take and I ended up having to change rooms. They took care of me with no issues and gave me a room with a beautiful view of the city no complaints. Food in the restaurant was good especially at breakfast time. Hotel exterior could use a facelift but all in all an average hotel.

Stay Here!

From the moment we pulled up to the door and Sterling greeted us, we felt like we were home. For the 4 days/3 nights we stayed here, we were happy to be at this lovely, clean, comfortable hotel. At check-in, Oliver offered us a choice of rooms/floors and explained all we needed to know. His friendly demeanor and helpful advice was invaluable. My college-aged kids enjoyed swimming in the roof-top heated pool and we all found the Wi-Fi to be exceptional (for a hotel, particularly).
We're looking forward to our next stay at Hotel Bonaventure~and seeing our new friends, Sterling and Oliver!

This hotel is a great place to stay, roof top hotel with heated outdoor pool, centrally located right across the street from via rail and close to old Montreal. Great price, short walk to st Catherines street and crescent st.

Comfortable hotel

My partner and I stayed here for a week as there was a convention on in the hotel which we were attending. It is conveniently located and a 5 minute walk to the shopping street. There are some cafes below the hotel in the metro station.
The hotel restaurant is very nice but expensive. My fillet steak and Chloe wine were both excellent.. but at a price!
The heated outdoor swimming pool was great and the gym was fully equipped too. The service was excellent.
My only big moan was that you could easily hear people in the corridor when you were trying to rest and there were workmen making loud noises and talking directly outside our window EVERY morning before 8am which should not be allowed in a hotel ....before 9am!
