How to Get There
I travel extensively and stop in all sorts of hotels - I can definitely say my stay at this hotel has been one of the best.
It’s not a big hotel - for me, this is what I wanted: friendly, personal and quirky yet with all the comfort of a chain.
My room (401) was very comfortable and I loved the decor (the exposed brickwork really nice). Great to have free bottled water and coffee machine plus an amazing shower.
All the staff were really friendly and helpful.
The restaurant is more of a bar accessed through the hotel lobby - I enjoyed the restaurant - more for the evening than breakfast (I would have loved some fruit and yoghurt at breakfast rather than the cooked options but that’s personal choice).
I did have a problem with the WiFi speaker which is a shame as it would have been useful but maybe it was my device at fault.
In short a great stay and loved the hotel. I would definitely stop there again.
I loved the places with history where you can imagine what was it like many years ago... so I booked this place . The location is good since you have some museums and attractions walking distance. I think summer would be better to walk around so that coffee shops and restaurants would have seats outside and a more lively atmosphere. We went there by the end of winter but still walking was fun.
The place is small but cozy, they have a refreshment bar by the entrance so it was great to have your coffee to go before your tour or tea before bed time.
The back exit was also cool for night walks and the restaurant was so good too. Breakfast crepes were delicious.
Bed was super nice, white crispy fresh and comfy.
Shower was also very good and the staff was super friendly and nice at anytime. We very much enjoyed it. The room was very spacious too.
I spent a long weekend in Montreal for my bachelorette, and when my friend and I unexpectedly had to stay another night due to snow, we booked at this hotel.
Just a few things that stood out:
-The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable.
-Lovely toiletries and rain shower in the bathroom.
-The staff was very friendly when we checked in and when we needed dinner recommendations.
-We loved the attached restaurant - Taverne Gaspar. When our original brunch plans fell through, the hostess was so understanding, fitting us in last minute. We were so glad - the food/bloody mary's were great!
-There's a spa down the street, and the manager gave us a coupon for our time there! So nice.
Would definitely stay here again for a weekend trip!
Located in the heart of Old Montreal, we stayed in a two bedroom loft worthy of permanent living!! Very clean, spacious and beautiful with brick walls and hardwood floors. We loved every minute of it!!!
We stayed for three nights and we enjoyed our stay. Lovely room and spacious. Staff are very nice. The hotel brassiere Gasper had nice breakfast. We use the valet service it was nice and easy to get your car. Close to a lot of restaurants.
