How to Get There
Our sisters trip this year took us to Montreal and this fabulous find. Any time a challenge came up, like a gas leak and power outage in the area, or a tour bus forgetting to pick us up, our concierge and the restaurant staff were outstanding.
Auberge du Vieux Port itself? Loved the loft apartment! Lots of space, beautiful clean lines in the remodel of old, fabulous building. Location could not be better. Close to so much in Old Montreal. Loved It!
This boutique hotel is quite charming. Walking distance to everything. We had our car valeted and didn't need it till we left for home. My only recommendation is to ask for the quietest room. We had a room on the first floor on the street side looking at the port. Although the room was beautiful with exposed brick and hard wood floors, it was very loud. We could hear the people in the street. I had ear plugs so I was not as bothered as my husband. Ask to see the room first before checking in. Each room is unique.
We had booked a week here but relocated after 2 nights as my husband is disabled and needed an accessible hotel room . Staff were fantastic in helping us to find suitable accommodations and transferring luggage. Great location on the port in a busy thriving area.
