How to Get There
We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. Could have stayed longer. Super friendly staff. We had no booking but arrived by chance. They saw how hot and tired we were. Very warm welcome. ..drinks and fruit on our arrival. Owner, Bi is super courteous. All staff were cheerful and happy to have a chat. Lovely swimming pool. Very clean rooms . Very good price. I would highly recommend this hotel. Really enjoyed our stay here!
The rooms here were amazing, very relaxing and the staff were unbelievably caring!
One member in our group unfortunately was stung by a jellyfish across her face whilst swimming in Bai Tu Long Bay a few days earlier and the staff here were exceptional, caring and extremely accommodating with anything we asked for.
They were more than happy to arrange scooters, tours, transfers, laundry, tailor recommendations etc with no fuss at all!
Would definitely recommend!!!!
was a solo traveler, stay at the level 3 villa, the room was large, two bathrooms, 1 large bed, two AC (1 in bedroom and 1 in living room) the staff was wonderful, there's bicycle available for use on site, the location is quiet right on the river side.
A small boutique hotel located facing Thu Bon River with total of 12 rooms. You will see orchid flowers, Jack Fruit tree and herbs planted around the pool and garden area. Front desk staff are friendly and can speak English.
During check in, they will serve you cool bottled water and freshly baked banana pancake with ice cream.
We had 2 connecting rooms for four persons on the second floor. Air-con was working well but water pressure was not consistent sometimes. The bathroom seemed to be newly renovated. We had one good bed but the other one was probably old with soft mattress.
Our reservation included daily breakfast which they have Western or Vietnamese food that you order from ala-carte menu. They are also very flexible and do not limit your order if you are a big eater. Pan cake and creme brûlée are highly recommended if you have sweet tooth.
Getting around to ancient town is just 5-minutes using a Grab car and they also have free bicycle for use. Room rate is very reasonable considering the service and cleanliness.
Overall our stay was good and I highly recommend this hotel if you want to stay away from the busy ancient town.
After much plotting, between my brother in law and myself, l arranged a secret visit to Hoi An to surprise my sister for her birthday.
After a two previous visits, and making a number of good friends, l selected the River Orchid Garden Riverside Hotel.
While other hotels that l’ve stayed at have been great, the one problem has always been that there tends to be a fair bit of noise.
Not at the hotels themselves, but outside.
Sometimes it’s traffic, on my previous visit in September, it was a dog barking all night at a nearby house.
But at the ‘Orchid Garden’, it was an oasis of peace.
Away from the street, it’s a lovely hotel with great rooms and fabulous service.
The staff are wonderful, always friendly and chatty, and with a wealth of knowledge that makes finding anything you need a breeze.
A wonderful breakfast at no charge, you get ample amounts of great food to keep you going until lunchtime!
My trip was a short one, for me, at two weeks.
I had a week there on my own, and my sister came the following weekend.
On learning of my plan, the staff were really excited for me.
One l already knew from my last two visits from other hotels, and between her and the rest off the staff, they helped me set up a raft of activities for us to do.
They pampered me for my first week and, when my sister arrived, regaled her with stories of my exploits!
They arranged boat trips at a fraction of the cost that it would be, if l had booked them myself.
They got us motorcycles and layed out a number of trips out of town, and into the countryside.
They clearly took great pleasure in making our trip as memorable as possible, apparently for them, as much as for us!
I will be heading back in September and will be staying here again for that visit.
I cannot recommend the Orchid Garden’ enough.
Just don’t all come when l’m there, please 😊!
