How to Get There
We enjoyed our stay at Victoria Resort over the New Year’s period (it's taken some time to get to reviewing!). The resort was pretty and staff very nice and helpful.
The weather was less than ideal (rainy and windy) so we could not use the pool etc, but still the rooms were spacious and clean and so you could relax in the rooms quite comfortably. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and once exploring the ancient town in Hoi An, I was very glad we made the decision to stay on the beach and head into town to explore and for meals as required. Hoi An is beautiful but very busy, so it felt nice to be able to return to the serenity of Victoria resort. We used the free shuttle bus to and from the hotel as well as Grab (similar to uber in Vietnam), the latter was very easy to use and cheap.
We had a Garden Deluxe villa and as a couple this was perfect. I was also pleased that my request for a higher up room was organised, our room was quiet and even had partial ocean views. The buffet breakfast in the morning was extremely convenient and very good, the staff are also very nice. We used the gym while staying and it was pretty good with a few machines and weight machines.
We used VM Travel to arrange a private transfer to Hue after our stay which was cheaper than the hotel transport and super easy to organise and the experience was excellent. On arrival from Da Nang Airport, we arranged a pick up using Rideways.com which worked perfectly.
I would recommend this resort to family and friends if visiting Hoi An.
I stayed here in June 2019 and July 2018. I love the atmosphere at VHA, very peaceful and quiet. Food is good and the room is so comfortable. The resort has daily transfer cars to take guests to and from Hoi An Ancient town so that it's easy to stay here all day with the sun, sand and sea and then go for a walk at the center of Hoi An at night.
The staff are gracious and the rooms are beautiful. I feel that the staff can’t do enough for you. Hope to come back again to enjoy the beauty and peacefulness! The restaurant has a great variety of food and everything we tried was excellent.
