How to Get There
Great hotel to stay with family and friends. Great pool for the kids, great food at the hotel. Happy hour daily from 6pm - 8pm. Awesome buffet breakfast.
Hoi An is very hot this time of year reaching up to 38 - 40 degrees. It was hard to keep the rooms cool with our air conditioning on full time. The pool temp was 29 degrees. Hard to cool down in the pool.
I would definitely stay here again. I would maybe pick cooler months like October
Thank you for the lovely time. Kids loved it!
We have just completed a five-night stay at this hotel. The rooms, setting, and grounds are truly lovely. We stayed in a junior suite, which had a stunning view of the sea. Although we had a very pleasant stay, we believe that the hotel could be even more enjoyable than it currently is. We were, for example, quite surprised to see that the hotel was charging almost 15 Euro per hour for use of the kayaks or the paddle boards. At other hotels like this one where we have stayed, use of the kayaks and the paddle boards was free. We saw no one using either during our entire stay.
In addition, the main building with the reception has some very nice public spaces; however, they were simply too hot to use. This also applies to the reception itself, which is open on both sides, but which was too hot even in early July to sit in for any length of time. We are wondering how it must be in August. Placing a couple of big fans in the room to create a breeze would make this room much more pleasant. The worst were the game room and the library areas on the first floor. Although the nice game room, which has a ping-pong table and two pool tables, has some ceiling fans, they don’t work well enough to circulate the air properly. We found it a shame that this room was basically unusable, in the evening as well as during the day.
Myself, my wife, our eldest son, his wife, our grandson and a family friend spent 13 nights at the Hotel recently. We were met by very friendly staff with a cool towel and a drink. Check in was very simple and we were then escorted to our various rooms that were all air conditioned, which was very much needed with temperatures in the high 30's each day and not going below 26/27 each night. The overall service from the reception staff, security, the housekeeping staff, swimming pool staff and the waiters/waitresses either in the restaurant or bars was impeccable. The swimming pool was excellent especially for the temperatures we had and they have their own private beach or you can swim in front of the swimming pool by availing yourself of the stairs down to the water. The breakfast buffet had everything you could wish for with the chefs cooking your eggs however you wanted them. We were all so sad when we had to leave and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to the rest of our family and friends.
