How to Get There
Well afternoon tea at the Ritz. If you've done it in London don't try to repeat it in Doha. I arrived a little late and my friends had already been served but no one came over. I had to search for service. The food was fine but when I wanted a refill of water in my teapot, again there was no service. I went to reception and they found a waitress who was very helpful. The service was sooo disappointing so please folks go to the W or the St Regis .It's much better.
Stayed here for a few days and the hotel and service were impeccable.
The staff in particular deserve a mention for how accomodating they are:
Poolside team - Nurul, Rustom, Pamod & his wife - went out of their way to accommodate us.
Jordan (I think that's his name) at the entrance who assisted us in ordering Ubers from his personal phone!
All the check in and front of house team were always willing to help with anything.
Nothing is too much to ask for with the staff here - made the trip very enjoyable!
Rooms: Recently renovated and in great condition! True 5 star rooms.
Restaurants - we ate at the buffet restaurant and poolside - and food was always fresh and tasty with plenty of choice.
Location - right next to lagoona mall and the grand Hyatt hotel so plenty of places nearby to eat and shop!
As an “Marriott Bonvoy” member for many years, my experiences undoubtedly with them have been very good. I decided to book a room at the ritz with my family and enjoy Valentine’s Day. Upon arrival the bad experience began, it started from valet all the way to calling front desk with no answer multiple times. I had to order in room dining from my cellphone because they weren’t answering the phone so how is that for 5 star service. Despite being a Marriott Bonvoy member I wasn’t given the proper late check out time I am entitled too. The food is definitely not worth its price especially after a disastrous display of poor service like that. Something needs to be done, The Ritz was one of my favorite hotels in Qatar and its unfortunate how obvious the problems are.
The staff and the hospitality makes this hotel the best place to stay!. Their smiling faces, great attitude and watching the staff from diverse background, different countries and ethnicity working as one makes it even more special!

We used all the amenities of the hotel and were so impressed with the range of five-star service offered throughout the hotel. The staff are really selected to be so polite, professional and do their job above expectation. The hotel's 23rd floor lounge is enchanting. You meet by smiling beautiful people as you step out of the elevator and they make you feel like a royality. Mrs. Elsie with her beautiful french accent, handsome mr. Glenn and Mr. Abed who do their best to make you feel comfortable, the chefs mr. Philip and the asian masterchef with their delicious dishes, and the waiters with their calming attitude, especially the Moroccan waiter who always asks if you need anything more. All the serving staff are so professional and make you longing to get back to the hotel just to meet them again. We really hope that the hotel manager understands the value of these individuals doing their best for the well-being of the hotel guests.
