For a seriously stylish stay in the richest place on the planet (according to Forbes), this perfectly positioned and rather glam boutique hotel seals the deal. Most standout, though, is the location – right in the heart of the Qatari capital’s Old Airport area and within easy distance of the glittering shopping malls, must-see museums, and impossibly good souks.
With ultra-chic but welcoming interiors and awe-inspiring views of Doha’s futuristic skyline from the wonderful outdoor rooftop pool, this little bolt-hole is big on attention to detail. There’s a well-equipped gym for daily workouts, a great restaurant for Arab and Indian-leaning menus, and a bend-over-backwards level of service from the charming hotel staff.
Days can be spent riding the hop-on hop-off Yellow Doha Bus to get to grips with the city, snapping up elusive bargains at the Gold Souq and Souk Waqif, and being awed by the exhibits at the iconic I.M. Pei-designed Museum of Islamic Art.
Once done with sightseeing, retreat to your spacious room, which comes with sleek fashion-forward décor, rich dark woods, lavish soft furnishings, and all the mod cons you could possibly want.
How to Get There
My stay was only short, but upon arrival the staff were very friendly and helpful. Check-in was efficient and courteous.
The location was good although for me it didn't matter as I just needed to sleep away from the 44c outside.
The room was small. In fact the bathroom was good for me as I am skinny; a large person would have struggled. Despite the size, the furnishings were beautiful. Very much like a brand new hotel. I had a lovely sleep in quietness, waking refreshed and ready for my long haul flight to Indonesia.
They have a nice gym and good room service and the reception people were, once again, courteous and helpful. It took about 15 minutes to get to the airport.
Recommended for a solo traveller in particular.
Staff, very friendly and helpful..
location is ok. Anyway in Doha you need a car. Underground car parking is available for free.
Nice hotel with good facilities and very good price compared to other places. One of cheapest places in Qatar.
Good breakfast buffet too. Closer to the airport.
Location is good. However:
Customer service is my worst 3 in Doha. Staff are not friendly especially the tone is not comfortable. Action to requests were either not done or done very late. They are charging for an extra bottled water! The ironboard set is not presentable or can be a trash already.
I am very satisfied by the fine services of this hotel and I can tell as I used most of them. My room with its separate living room gave me ample space to rest, work and just read or watch tv. It is very comfortable. I went for a swim it has a decent sized pool. The restaurant has a variety of tasty dishes and a very good buffet breakfast. The Indian staff at the restaurant are nice and courteous as are the Filipinas at the coffee shop. The Sudanese girl at the reception is very smart and helped in receiving a package I was eagerly expecting. I also used the gym and the business centre, both working very well. It is easy to get a Uber from here to go to the Corniche.
Stayed here for 2 nights on way to Europe. Close to Museum Islamic Art which is very worthwhile seeing. Clean, updated, comfortable very reasonable price. No hairdryer I could find and no shade at the pool. Would have loved a swim but not really an inviting pool atmosphere on a very hot day!
