A glamorous stay at a luxe boutique hotel with rooftop pool in the Qatari capital of Doha on the Persian Gulf

The Lowdown

For a seriously stylish stay in the richest place on the planet (according to Forbes), this perfectly positioned and rather glam boutique hotel seals the deal. Most standout, though, is the location – right in the heart of the Qatari capital’s Old Airport area and within easy distance of the glittering shopping malls, must-see museums, and impossibly good souks.
With ultra-chic but welcoming interiors and awe-inspiring views of Doha’s futuristic skyline from the wonderful outdoor rooftop pool, this little bolt-hole is big on attention to detail. There’s a well-equipped gym for daily workouts, a great restaurant for Arab and Indian-leaning menus, and a bend-over-backwards level of service from the charming hotel staff.
Days can be spent riding the hop-on hop-off Yellow Doha Bus to get to grips with the city, snapping up elusive bargains at the Gold Souq and Souk Waqif, and being awed by the exhibits at the iconic I.M. Pei-designed Museum of Islamic Art.
Once done with sightseeing, retreat to your spacious room, which comes with sleek fashion-forward décor, rich dark woods, lavish soft furnishings, and all the mod cons you could possibly want.

Decent Hotel, but not worth the money at all. and not 4Stars at all!
Reviewed 3 weeks ago

I spent one month in this hotel. from the moment I arrived I found nothing but inconvenience. The parking is so tiny and horribly built. The breakfast starts 7am??? which 4 star hotel does this? The rooms are tiny and the WIFI is so slow I used to go Starbucks everyday to use the wifi. The staff are usually great and smile a lot. that's about the only great thing. The gym has 3 weightlifting machines??? and is the same size a double room! 3!! and it closes at 8pm??? which 4 star hotel does this please? The pool is fantastic. The towels are ALWAYS ripped. it's like they are so old and they don't want to spend money. The restaurant food isn't that great, I became really sick when I had food from there. I wouldn't advise anyone to book this hotel. you can find a proper 4 star elsewhere. anyone who likes this place clearly hasn't been to a 4 star hotel.

This hotel is located between the airport and downtown. I didn't see many possibilities to take the public transportation to downtown, so I ended up using taxis/Uber to get around Doha. In 15 min you can reach downtown.
Near the hotel there aren't many restaurants, so better eat at the hotel or eat somewhere before returning to the hotel.
There is a pool on the rooftop of the hotel. It is very useful, specially when the temperatures outside are above 40 deg Celsius.
The staff of this hotel is very freindly and helpful.

Great value for money!

Since the moment I walked in, the receptionist was welcoming with a big bright smile in her face. She was very nice and helpful. The hotel is small (considering the other big hotels). But is still quite charming, the rooms are spacious enough. However, I noticed a smell once you enter the hallways and throughout the room, I think it has to do with the condensation since the rooms felt damp. Other than that, the hotel is very clean. The price for what you get is well worth it, it is very close to the airport, so your uber ride to/from the hotel to the Airport would cost you approximately $8 to $10. I did not take the breakfast.
