How to Get There
Ponce is a gem of a city. Clean and with top places to visit, plus within 30-45 min to other top attractions like beaches, Caja De Muerto island (catamaran trip from Ponce’s Yatch Club is just within minutes from the resort), nearby Seralles’s Castle, or El Combate beach in Cabo Rijo, and/or Hacienda Lealtad (Cafe Bistro Hacienda Lealtad) in nearby town if Lares, this Hacienda offers tour on the weekend by reservations, but their restaurant is alway open, the view is incredible!!!, etc, etc. The hotel itself is top notch. Gated entrance, beautiful grounds, modern rooms, and the pool is heated, and in not in high season, you will feel you have it all to yourself. TIP: visit the, the restaurant on the Golf villas side, THERE IS A FREE SHUTTLE to the Golf Villas (it is inside the resort), beautiful grounds as well. They serve Chinese & Sushi (even though it has a Spanish name), the food was ok, but great service was excellent and at very reasonable prices, but to ride around on the shuttle and seeing the golf area was a nice treat, specially AT SUNSET! BEST HOTEL IN PONCE.
We have been returning to the Ponce Hilton for many years when visiting Puerto Rico. For us there is no better hotel in the entire south. It is always with regret that we have to leave. There is no doubt we will be back.
is a nice place but the beach is not good, have good pools, and a good golf course , the staff is very nice. nice place for vacation with family, also good place for conventions, it have a good convention place and staff
The cleanliness of the bathroom was terrible, the floor was full of pubic hair. The facilities of the main lobby seem full of dust on the roof. The pool area was nice but the mosquitos in the pool area and the dining area were like a plague.
The worst food experience my wife and I have had at a resort.
Beautiful property, breathtaking views, room was old but clean, food and bar is where this property failed. The bar staff was not attentive and we were sitting right on the bar.
I ordered a burger for lunch, medium rare, received the burger 45 minutes later, well done and fries that were cold. I rejected the fries and they quickly replacement them with some fresh ones but they were limp and greasy, not edible. The A1 sauce was so thick, it hardly came out of the bottle, obviously a very old 1/2 used bottle.
For dinner, we had the buffet both nights, food was cold, even the steaks on the grill were cold, (they put them aside after cooking). The breakfast bar was also lukewarm, cold eggs, cold potatoes, and cold sausages. We had planned on staying there 5 nights, but checked out because of the food. This could be a great experience if you can focus on the food.
