Best vacation/birthday ever!

Absolutely breathtaking!!!! Every inch of the property is beyond beautiful, the trees, flowers, plants and the sound of the coqui! Our room had a balcony with beach/ocean view, it was as amazing! Views views views! Every member of the staff was so accommodating and they expressed the best hospitality to me and my family. The spa is a must, every step around the premises was so beautifully kept, and I had the best treetop massage with Janet, she is wonderful! We had dinner at Melao twice during our vacation, the food and staff was so great, we just had to come back. Shout out to Joel and Caroline, thank you for the great service and food recommendations. An absolute must is the lobster mofongo!!! A very BIG Thank you to Kristina Diaz with Elemento photography, we had the most fun photo session with her. She captured so many beautiful memories for us. And I am forever grateful to her!!!
The photos and video, were amazing!!!!! Lastly,
The water mill park was awesome, very family friendly and gorgeous! Thank you Puerto Rico, Ritz Carlton Reserve, for a wonderful experience, birthday and a vacation, my family and I will Never Forget!!!

Beautiful resort

This resort is 5 star all the way. The room is exquisitely decorated, outdoor rain shower was amazing, and loved the spacious balcony. Private white sand beach and blue waters. Dinner at Coa was excellent, the steak was probably the best steak we’ve had and we live in New York! Sushi sand bar and chef from okinawa at posivito was perfect. Very good sushi quality - we’re both japanese and we had a great time speaking to the chef. The breakfast buffet was sooo delicious, and beautifully laid out. The chocolate pancakes are to die for. Definitely try the spa, the outdoor jacuzzi area was wonderful.

I think the private butler sms texting was unnecessary tho- was very slow and ended up having to repeat ourselves several times abt services. It was faster just calling the front desk. Sort of an unnecessary/ inefficient “service”

Still the best

This was my third visit to the resort and first since the hurricane. It remains a special place. The rainforest style vegetation is magical and is very well preserved. Rooms are extremely high end. In particular, the massive bathrooms and outdoor showers, and the plunge pool/deck area are first rate.

The staff is experienced, attentive and generally does a good job anticipating, rather than reacting, to guest needs. High praise.

The changes to the main restaurant area and loss of Jose Andres’ menu are disappointing, but I understand the hurricane did quite a lot of damage and so this dining area was redesigned and updated.
