Dominican Republic stay. At Cofresi Palm Beach & Spa Resort, these
are just means to an end – days (and nights) of tropical adventure that
befit your setting amid beaches, palms and pools. With 12 swimming
holes, seven beaches, 11 restaurants, 12 bars, two entertainment venues
and a nightclub, this resort gives you no shortage of choices for having
your tropical getaway your way.
Yes, you have all the tools in
hand to get the fun started, like contemporary design that sets an
upbeat, beachy tone and makes you want to hit the sand or go for a swim.
Your accommodation is a comfortable place to rest up for the
experiences available for you to try, like spa treatments and scuba
certifications. But it’s never the material things that matter when it
comes to creating moments – it’s the things you do, as well as the
people you meet. Thanks to the sheer size and scope of this sprawling
property, these are all included, too.
Good to know
all-inclusive basis includes buffet-style breakfast, lunch and dinner; house wine with meals, plus beer, spirits, cocktails,
juices and soft drinks from 12 all-guest bars located
throughout the property; 24-hour food and beverages available in select
locations; daytime and late-night snacks located throughout the
property; and taxes.
The rooms at Cofresi Palm Beach are just what you’d
expect from a beach resort: casual, laid-back and comfortable.
Contemporary design, wooden furnishings, plush bedding and marble
accents make these accommodations luxury retreats, surrounded by the
idyllic scenery of the Caribbean. Ceiling fans and air conditioning keep
things cool in the warm island climate, while the warm palettes help
keep the design feeling fresh – and you’ll love the view of the gardens.
11 restaurants and 12 bars, the property waves away any concerns you
might have about growling stomachs during your stay. From Asian fusion,
Italian and Indian to kosher choices and local Dominican fare, the
cuisine includes a wide range of flavors, served as buffets or in
intimate sit-down settings. The
choices are vast and will certainly quiet your stomach (though they may
make your mouth water).
Inspired by the
calming energy of an Asian temple, Yin Yang Spa blends Asian techniques
with Caribbean culture to give you a unique spa experience. It features
showers, a sauna and health-club facilities, ideal for when you’re
looking to find relaxation and comfort during your getaway. It also
offers a full range of services, from body treatments and facials to
aromatherapy. Please note that spa treatments and facilities are not part of the all-inclusive plan and are subject to fees.
Hailed as the most
beautiful land eyes had ever seen by Christopher Columbus, the Dominican
Republic is rich in both beauty and history, and Puerto Plata is one of
the nation’s enchanting cities, set on the northern shore. Its crystal
clear beaches, tropical landscape, charming architecture and picturesque
streets, lined with historic mansions, make this the perfect getaway if
you want to spend your days exploring a coastal paradise with European
style and centuries of history.
How to Get There
First, let me start by saying this review is not in my financial best interest since I am a so called VIP Member. So I have an investment in Lifestyle.
When my wife and I first visited here in 2013 we fell in love with everything about Lifestyle, they probably think they sold us, but truthfully we had made up our minds even before we realized we could become members. Everything about this complex of resorts was amazing. Perhaps the best quality was what we viewed as authentically friendly staff.
So fast forward to 2019. Like 2013, the complex of resorts are still amazing, in fact we intended to upgrade to a higher level. Sadly what has changed to the detriment of the entire complex is the staff.
It is no longer guest friendly. The staff here are extremely well trained at the art of deflection. Everything is either your (the guest) fault or handled by another department. So there is absolutely no accountability.
This total lack of accountability substantially diminished the entire experience. On several occasions they left my wife literally crying.
The only way to get something done is to get angry and hope you find a real problem solver and good luck with that.
Perhaps the most evident change is how the staff greeted guest, back in 2013 it was always “hello family” no so much anymore.
We arrived on a Friday just in time for the Green season Dominicans to join us for the weekend. Culturally different amounts of chaos and noise and locals gone wild in aid of keeping costs low for us to enjoy this otherwise great resort is what brings my rating down. The balance of our week was OK but, generally, super loud " activation Staff" made for an upsetting bunch of hours every day. On the positive side, food was pretty great as was the drink varieties. Staff was also very good.
My partner and I went for 3 nights which were just perfect! We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The food was great and every one was really kind. Julio nice & the Champion made our days fun and interesting. They engage with the people and do a great job making you laugh and have a good time. The hotel is big and have something for everyone to enjoy regardless of you age. They have busses that come and go every 10 mins which is very convenient if you want to explore around the hotel or get to places faster. They also have a different show every night. I would definitely come back to this hotel. It was more then expected!
Absolutely amazing and friendly people and the hotel was phenomenal and so clean. Terrific dance shows every night to liven up the mood with amazing dancers. Justin Bieber was by far the best person to talk to he was so polite and spoke really good English so it was easy to get direction from him and on top of that he was one of the outstanding dancers.
It's a very beautiful place.was there 7 days with family we had the pleasure of meeting Julio Nice,he took it upon him to make us feel welcome, just a great men and professional.Anytime we saw him he would have a big smile and made sure we were always laughing and that we had a great time.Thank you Julio Nice for all your attentions.will miss you. This resort is lucky to have you as an employee.
