How to Get There
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Millenium Resort in Cabarete while in the Dominican Republic on business. The studio I stayed in was thought fully decorated and appointed and was spotlessly clean. The location is the best I. Cabarete. The entire staff was wonderful, especially the crew at Aqua, the beachside restaurant on site. I even had Aqua cater several events and they exceeded expectations hands down. I would highly recommend this establishment and will certainly be back.
I was introduced to Millennium by a friend who frequents this resort. I was always in awe of her pictures and videos of the property. I have to say that it exceeded my expectations. Friendly staff very sleek modern lobby, rooms and well maintained property in and out! The ocean view is a postcard come to life with the infinity pool that leads you there. The resto/bar is located just above the pool facing the ocean has really good food and drinks. Service was so friendly and professional. The rooms are completely stocked with everything you will need. I would with out a doubt stay here again and highly recommend the property!
My husband and I along with another couple have been coming to the Millennium since 2013 and have had a wonderful experience every time. The same staff at reception, the hotel bar, and Aqua restaurant have remained and it's so nice to see our "family" on each visit. They truly have become one of the highlights of our repeated visits. The hotel has very spacious and modern rooms, many of which are full apartment/condos which have every amenity you could need. Any time there has been a request or maintenance issue the staff responds right away. The hotel location in Cabarete is perfect for kiteboarding and beach access. We love to hang on the edge of the infinity pool and watch the kiteboarders during the afternoon. It's a nice walk down the beach to the popular bar/club and restaurant area in the evenings too. However the onsite restaurant Aqua has a lovely breakfast, lunch and dinner menu throughout the day. We ate there most of the time, but other great options are very close by. The owner of Aqua who is always onsite is also relocating his other local restaurant Yalla in the space below Aqua which is beach front. Can't wait to try on our next visit! Laurel Eastman Kiteboarding school (LEK) is also connected to the resort on the beach. I took lessons for the first time during this trip and had an awesome teacher and a fun time. Can't wait to give it another try next time! I highly recommend the Millennium when staying in Cabarete. You just can't beat it and I wouldn't stay anywhere else.
