How to Get There
We just returned from a superb stay at the Villa Nicolli. The location is ideal with views onto the vineyard at the back; the food is sumptuous and gives a delicious introduction to different regions of Italy at dinner each night; the staff are helpful, friendly, and go out of their way to please; the rooms are well furnished and kept very clean.
Worth knowing that there is a dress code for dinner - long trousers for men and boys (not shorts). The outdoor pool is great; the indoor pool and spa is for adults only, not kids.
The breakfast will set you up for the whole day, and then there’s the numerous dinner courses! If kids can’t manage it all, they can always skip a course.
All in all, we highly recommend it.
Hi, we have just arrived home from a weeks holiday in the amazing hotel.
The location is perfect, we had a room with a stunning view of the mountains and vineyards. The staff at the hotel were warm and welcoming;staff couldn't do enough for guests.
The hotel was perfectly clean and the rooms were of a good size.
The food were some of the best we have eaten and all served by waiters in the evening.
They even hand out at night bed time stories into each room which is a lovely touch.
We are already looking at booking to return next year which we wouldnt normally do but this place is so special. Every angle is like a postcard picture.
Thanks for such a good week and memorable holiday.
We booked this hotel as a last minute deal and we had an amazing time staying here. All the staff are friendly and welcoming, the restaurant staff in particular have brilliant senses of humour and will do everything they can to accommodate you. There is a lot of vegetarian options for the evening meal if you go half board. Half board by the way is 5 courses and the food quality is just brilliant. The outdoor pool is kept and maintained to a very high standard. The indoor pool is beautifully quiet. The sauna and spa area is above the indoor pool, you have to ask reception to turn on whatever it is you are after and within 10 mins you are in :). The rooms are well kept, and we were fortunate to have a mountain view room. The hotel itself is quiet mainly due to there is only 60ish rooms which means no banging doors at night. The owner does a free Nordic walk - totally recommend this, and does pasta making classes as well. We were half board and we were able to easily survive the day on breakfast and dinner alone. Breakfast includes hot food as well if you would like it - I had bacon and eggs every day, as well as pastries, pancakes, cheese, meat, bread would totally recommend and will be going back there.
