How to Get There
This nice hotel located right on the lake shore outside of Bariloche is a great place to relax. The rooms are spacious with great views of the lake. Rooms are nicely decorated with art. The rooms have a small refrigerator and the WIFI works great. There is a pool downstairs. The room rate comes with breakfast which is a large buffet with lots of selection. The restaurant also serves lunch and dinner. The food is tasty, a bit pricey. They have a nice wine list and you can find most anything. If you need a nice place to relax and unwind this is the place for you.
We stayed two nights at this hotel on the side of the lake. The hotel is beautifully maintained in lovely gardens decorated with sculptures outside and dotted with artworks inside. Our room had a very comfortable bed and a beautiful view of the lake. The breakfast was very good although the coffee was disappointing. It’s a little outside of Bariloche so necessitates driving for dinner unless you eat at one of the casual pizza places within walking distance. The hotel has a very smart restaurant - lunch was good - but quite formal and priced accordingly
A magnificent boutique hotel with beautiful views of the lakes. The rooms are beautifully designed and implemented. The cuisine available in the hotel is also excellent and the service is good. Altogether, this place makes for a lovely break.
We stayed for 3 nights. The hotel has a wonderful view of the lake. The pool area is nice with a few sun beds and self service flavoured waters and teas. The room was fine, just so very dark! The lighting is inadequate. There are bedside lights and one small wall light which didn’t work, but no actual ceiling light. The toiletries were not always replenished so we had to request for them. We ate dinner there one evening. It was nice and good service. We had a cocktail also at the bar. Kevin, who served us was really pleasant and I asked for a restaurant recommendation which he gave us. It was a fabulous recommendation!! Huacho - very nice.
The breakfasts are a let down... there are a few cereals and pastries (some were pretty dry) ham and cheese but again the bread was dry.. the only warm food option was scrambled eggs and a sausage dish - both looked very unappetising. The fruit was not alway replenished and again was tired looking, bananas with lots of black spots etc... I saw that a lady had a cappuccino so I ordered one the next day, but wouldn’t have known that they were an option if I hadn’t seen this as there’s no information either printed or verbal..
Overall we enjoyed our stay. It’s a nice hotel out of town but easy to get a taxi costing 400 pesos one way.
We can't say enough positive things about this hotel. Rooms have a view of the lake. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Most of staff speaks excellent English. Everyone was courteous and helpful.
We ate 3 times in the restaurant. True, there was no variance in the menu but with 5 main dishes, we had adequate choices. We rave about the food as being well presented and tasty. Another two meals were taken in the lounge. The lunch and snack menu was varied and our choices were excellent.
Each room features original art by a particular artist. All of the public rooms have plenty of original art. A small sign says that it is all for sale - but no prices were displayed. The number of sculptures is enormous. They are featured in all the public spaces, especially in the beautiful gardens. There were several that tempted my purchase but I did resist the impulse.
As others have stated, the entrance is close to a major road. But it never was a bother, either in our room or in the restaurant. We only heard it when a window was open.
