How to Get There
I’ve been there for 2 nights in low season with my family. The staff was really helpful and nice. The apartment is spacious, clean and well furnished. Perfect for stay with a baby because it’s near to the beach and the city’s centre too. The bathroom and in particular the shower is below the standard apartment
We were travelling with another couple who we had booked for, but they allocated us to separate apartments in the town. Whilst we were not far apart, it would have been nice to be in the same building. The hotel where we booked in was 5 minutes walk for the apartments, which was awkward as there was high wind and drizzle when we were led to our apartments.
Very well appointed and immaculately maintained, superbly cleaned throughout and all the fixtures and fittings in perfect order. Highly recommended. I was somewhat disappointed not to have a bath available, only a shower, but the shower was powerful and large.
We booked a comfort apartment for a month about a month before arrival. When we arrived we were allocated Apt. 90 which is by no means a 4 Star apartment, but costing like a 4 star. Kitchen and bathroom were outdated and quite shabby. We ask to change, but there were no apartments available for our dates of stay apart from more expensive range. The reason why we were planning to stay for so long was that both me and my husband work part time remotely, but unfortunately internet was patchy and it was not possible to connect to it repeatedly pretty much every afternoon. When we asked if we can shorten our stay, Hotel Lungomare apartment manager, a very unpleasant man passionately needing to enforce the cancelation policy (30 days), told us that we would still have to pay for the full stay. It was not a nice experience I would expect from a 4 Star hotel/residence.
On a plus side location was perfect -beachfront. We also had Full Board at Hotel Maestrale and the food was absolutely fantastic.
There is also a lot to do for kids after dinner in Riccione: pony riding, trampolines, bumper cars, go carts, drift cars, family bicycles which take 6 or so people and even roller skating.
We stayed here in July for the San Marino Cup soccer tournament (not part of the group). We needed a big place since we are a family. This is the Residence part so it is not the hotel. It is timeshares or something like that. These are big units. We had a one bedroom that had a pullout couch in the main room. Perfect for 4 people. There was an AC unit in the main room and one in the bedroom. They work great. We like it cold.
The room was clean and fully equipped with a fridge, etc. The balcony is huge. The washer is really small but it is good to have one.
My only complaints are that the wifi in the room didn't work. It was not a problem because you can just dial into the other rooms and they worked fine. I let them know and they will probably fix it. The other thing is that you have to go through the bedroom to get to the bathroom from the main area. That is a little weird but not a big deal.
It is a short walk to the beach and everything is super close.
There is also a parking spot for you in the garage and an elevator. This was huge since we rented a car. Great spot.
