Lovely hotel, rooms and views amazing! The decor was really well thought about. The rooms where great and the cleaning staff were fabulous! The 300 stairs down to the beach can be tedious if you do it more than once in a day but provides some great views! Only limitation is that they don’t offer any kind of food in the evening and after a day of excursions you don’t want to venture out of the hotel once returning, and there’s no other option for food. Some Staffs English can be slightly limited as we asked to charge our drinks to the room but instead ended up getting another 2 delivered to the room! Think it’s paulo the reception staff he was great couldn’t do more for us and English was great!

This little boutique in Sorrento is beautiful - designed with great attention to detail and paying tribute to the beautiful sea below. It is a really fantastic base to explore the stunning Amalfi coast region with easy access to Sorrento.

Amazing hotel great spot. Views are breathtaking and attentive staff. Breakfast was very pleasant and the terrace a great relaxing space. Stairs enable guests to walk down to the marina and restaurants were fab especially the fisherman’s cooperative. We were entertained by the birds of prey brought in to scare off the seagulls. I would love to go back

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon in June 2019. Wow!! what a lovely experience this hotel proved to be!! We loved every little detail of this hotel. The staff was very helpful, everyone greeted us with a smile and their service was impeccable. Each day the breakfast was a delight. The cleaning staff were so attentive and rooms were left immaculately clean each time we returned to our room. The views from our rooms proved to be the highlight of our trip! You can never get bored of those views!! Special regards to Guia and all the staff. You made our honeymoon extra special!! We really enjoyed our stay and we hope that one day we will return to this beautiful hotel in Sorrento. From Mr and Mrs Bianchi!

Fabulous hotel in every way

Wow what a gorgeous hotel and wonderful stay! We loved everything about this hotel and can’t wait to go back!

The location is great - close enough to Sorrento to easily walk there in 10 to 15 minutes. It’s just above Marina Grande with its own private entrance via 300 steps, with tiled seating areas at regular intervals to take a break and enjoy the view. And what a view! Our jaws dropped when we first saw it and we never bored of looking out across the Bay of Naples and down to the marina below.

The design and styling on this place is fabulous, both in the communal areas and the bedrooms. It’s so comfortable and inviting - there are lots of nooks and crannies all around the hotel to sit and chill. There are books to enjoy in the lounge area, and artwork all over the place.

The staff were all lovely - friendly and welcoming. They booked restaurants and were there for advice if needed. The standards of housekeeping was excellent.

Breakfast was a joy! A wonderful choice of fruit, cheese and meats, breads, a variety of pastries and preserves, the widest selection of teas I have ever seen and eggs or pancakes cooked to order. The early evening selection was lovely to enjoy with a glass of something cold before going out for the evening.

We can’t wait to go back, and that’s a first for us - we usually like to keep going to new places but Maison la Minervetta is exceptional.
