A dream vacation!

The Cocumella is a beautiful oasis located just 5 minutes driving distance away from Sorrento. I’m not sure where to start but this hotel not only met but surpassed our very high expectations. From start to finish, everything was spectacular. The service was absolutely impeccable, with every employee making us feel at home. They really took the time to get to know us and we felt as though we were a part of the Cocumella Family. Giuseppe is fantastic. After reading reviews and seeing his name mentioned, I had high expectations and Giuseppe did not disappoint! He always gave the best recommendations for dining, excursions, activities and more, and was able to accommodate based on our wants and schedule. The hotel’s shuttle service to and from Sorrento’s Tasso Square was wonderful. Less than a 5 minute drive, the shuttle ran every 15 minutes and was a great way to make it into Sorrento whenever we wanted. Cocumella also offers wonderful dining options! My parents and I really enjoyed having lunch by the pool (they use fresh ingredients from their organic garden!) They also offer beautiful private beach area with an attendant who is also wonderful!

Overall, we could not have any more wonderful things to say about Cocumella. It is truly an incredible hotel that offers classic Italian charm with impeccable service, and more! If you are planning a trip to Sorrento or the Amalfi Coast, look no further than the Cocumella. Trust me, you won’t regret it.

An Extraordinary Holiday

My partner and I had an exquisite week at Cocumella in August. The resort is utterly magical. The staff- Stella, Antonia, Giuseppe, Salvatore, Anna, Michele, Gennaro- couldn't have been more accommodating and informative. In fact, we ended up scrubbing a couple of our planned excursions just to be able to spend more time at Cocumella. Not to be missed are sailing on Vera, the magnificent schooner the hotel owns, and the massive pool (esp. if you're a swimmer).

Magical day afloat on sailing ketch Vera

It was a great privilege and an experience of a lifetime cruising to Capri on this 30 metre near 150 year old ketch. The coastal scenery is stunning but the star of the show, for us, was being on board this beautifully restored living piece of history. After being warmly welcomed on board by the captain, Antonio, we leisurely cruised to Capri where we anchored for lunch. The choice of food was vast, varied, beautifully presented and delicious. Whilst anchored we were given the oportunity to swim, visit the Blue Grotto and spend two hours ashore in Capri. Antonio was a superb host and his love for 'Vera' was clear for all to see, as was the pride he took in making this a day for us all to remember.
A week has passed and we are back home in England. Our day on 'Vera' was the highlight of our time in Sorrento and the memories continue to excite us, as they always will.
