Most beautiful breakfast room

Short trip with two grandchildren. Fresh squeezed OJ every morning. What a treat. And fabulous staff. Stella always helpful and Giuiseppe, the concierge, ranks number 1! Convenient to town yet calm and relaxing. Great food, excellent service.

Beautiful Gem of a Hotel that CAN NOT be missed!

Our family recently spent 4 nights at Hotel Cocumella during a 2 week Italy trip. By far, this was our favorite hotel. From the moment we arrived, we felt so warmly welcomed and well taken care of. Our teen daughter celebrated her birthday during this portion of our trip. The staff went way out of their way to make her feel special! From flowers/gift left in the room to a special dinner reservations made for us in Sorrento with a birthday cake added, you name it! Thank you!
The hotel, the grounds, the pool, the food options- they are all wonderful! The shuttle service in to Sorrento is such a nice extra for the guests! We loved our stay. It was sad to leave. We highly recommend this hotel. It is a great launching pad for day excursions like we did to Capri and Almafi coast. It's also an amazing place to be staying when you need a "down" day and need to just relax. To be away from the city center, surrounded by lush flowers and greenery and more serene- with a beautiful pool or beach area access- it's hard to beat!

Beautiful Cocumella!

Just left the Grand Hotel Cocumella after a 4 night stay. I cannot say enough good things about it so I’ll try to summarize:

Accommodations: The hotel is a 500 year old former Jesuit monastery. The architecture and design details reflect that time period but the hotel has been updated to ensure a first class, extremely comfortable top notch stay. We stayed in a Junior Sea View Suite with a connecting room with 2 twin beds because we traveled with our 2 teenagers.

Property: The hotel property is stunning with luscious gardens filling the grounds. It is not in the heart of Sorrento which is a great thing to me. It is quiet, peaceful and not crowded with shops and tourists. A complimentary hotel shuttle takes you to the action in Sorrento in 5-10 minutes. You can walk there in about 15 minutes.

Recreation: A pier and private sundeck allow you to lay on chaise lounges right in the middle of the water. It is so relaxing and peaceful, just heavenly. When you get too hot there is a small swimming area right off the pier. The pool is a nice Olympic size pool with comfortable loungers and a bar for yummy drinks by the pool.

Dining: Absolutely amazing sunset dinner on the terrace at Coku, their Japanese-Mediterranean fusion restaurant. Delicious food and the most friendly waitstaff! Loved the dinner so much that we went back the next night for cocktails at sunset. Wonderful experience there. Breakfast buffet offered a nice variety and was tasty. Lunch by the pool was very good as well.

Staff: The hotel staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We were greeted personally and given a brief intro to the hotel and shown to our room. The concierge, Giuseppe, was available to answer any question, make dining reservations and call taxis for us whenever we asked. Every employee we encountered had a smile for us and were more than happy to assist us, from Reception to Concierge to Housekeeping to Waitstaff to Room Service and Pool/Beach attendants. Excellent and impressive customer service.

Excellent hotel and clearly, I highly recommend it!
