A great base for the Gulf of Naples and the Amalfi Coast, with breakfast, an Executive room and a welcome cocktail included
Spend a few days in one of Italy’s most vibrant cities at the bright, modern and eco-friendly Hotel Cristina Napoli. Service is prompt, rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean – and to top it all off, you’ll be able to kick-start a day of sightseeing with a strong coffee and freshly baked pastries at the breakfast buffet. Though you’re not slap bang in the heart of Naples here, you are right next to the Cavalleggeri Aosta metro stop, which takes you into the UNESCO listed historic centre in less than 20 minutes. Often overlooked as a mere gateway into the Amalfi region, historic Naples is home to intricate palaces, some of Europe’s finest museums and world-renowned art galleries. Take time to check out the local area too, especially for interesting eateries, including a fantastic gelateria, close by. Executive rooms are mostly neutral in décor with bursts of colour and plenty of soft furnishings. Some Executive rooms also have views over the city. Hotel Cristina Napoli offers breakfast in the Breakfast Room on the first floor of the hotel, serving Italian coffee and a buffet breakfast of fresh pastries, fruit and breakfast treats. There are plenty of dining options in the immediate neighborhood and you’ll find you’re never far from a delicious, traditional pizza in Naples.
In the Area
The Cavalleggeri Aosta metro stop is a five-minute walk away and within 20 minutes, you can be in the heart of Naples, where you can visit the impressive attractions such as the Capodimonte museum and the Madre contemporary art gallery. Local to the hotel, the Mostra D’Oltremare exhibition centre, the largest exhibition space in southern Italy, is less than a mile away.
How to Get There
If you need a hotel that is spotless and close to the airport then this is your place. We needed a place where we could just lay down our heads for a couple of hours since we had to be at Naples airport for a 6 am flight. We checked in the night before at 11:00pm and were pleasantly surprised to have the attendant tell us that she would have our breakfasts packed and ready for us at 3 am since the breakfast space wouldn't be open that early. Also I messaged the hotel a few days ahead of our stay and they arranged a drive for us for $50 Euro to drop us off at the airport. I thought the price was really reasonable considering it was in the middle of the night.
They also provided toothpaste to all of us since we had all packed our toothpaste in our check bags and didn't want to tear apart our bags to find the toothpaste.
The check in attendant the night of August 18th was so friendly and she made us feel right at home. I am sorry I don't remember her name. She also took the time to explain how the air conditioning worked.
The 4 rooms were all ready for us - each had twin beds. Super clean.
If I ever have to go back to Naples I would stay there again - no question.
Cannot recommend this hotel enough.
Great value, great breakfast, pleasant staff who were very helpful, 5 mins walk to metro (staff give directions and recommended places to visit in Naples).
Naples is not the polished city that Florence or Rome is but is definitely worth a day sightseeing if passing thru. This hotel made or Naples day trip enjoyable.
A very bright and modern hotel. Comfortable rooms, had everything you could need for a short break in Naples. It is situated very close to the metro, which has great links to further afield. There is a great Japanese restaurant next door and a decent supermarket, next to the station. Reception staff always on hand to help with any queries/directions. Breakfast was ample, hot and cold drinks and food. Nicely stocked mini bar in the room, not extortionate prices, like some hotels. The little cafes nearby offer good value beers and snacks are free flowing with your order (crisps, nuts and pizza type snacks, varies upon venue). The zoo is an easy walk away and well worth a visit. A half hour walk will take you to the beach and a lovely beach 'cocktail' bar. All in all a great hotel, in a relatively quiet location but in easy reach of airport/Pompeii etc.
