Overview

A great base for the Gulf of Naples and the Amalfi Coast, with breakfast, an Executive room and a welcome cocktail included

The Lowdown

Spend a few days in one of Italy’s most vibrant cities at the bright, modern and eco-friendly Hotel Cristina Napoli. Service is prompt, rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean – and to top it all off, you’ll be able to kick-start a day of sightseeing with a strong coffee and freshly baked pastries at the breakfast buffet. Though you’re not slap bang in the heart of Naples here, you are right next to the Cavalleggeri Aosta metro stop, which takes you into the UNESCO listed historic centre in less than 20 minutes. Often overlooked as a mere gateway into the Amalfi region, historic Naples is home to intricate palaces, some of Europe’s finest museums and world-renowned art galleries. Take time to check out the local area too, especially for interesting eateries, including a fantastic gelateria, close by. Executive rooms are mostly neutral in décor with bursts of colour and plenty of soft furnishings. Some Executive rooms also have views over the city. Hotel Cristina Napoli offers breakfast in the Breakfast Room on the first floor of the hotel, serving Italian coffee and a buffet breakfast of fresh pastries, fruit and breakfast treats. There are plenty of dining options in the immediate neighborhood and you’ll find you’re never far from a delicious, traditional pizza in Naples.

In the Area

The Cavalleggeri Aosta metro stop is a five-minute walk away and within 20 minutes, you can be in the heart of Naples, where you can visit the impressive attractions such as the Capodimonte museum and the Madre contemporary art gallery. Local to the hotel, the Mostra D’Oltremare exhibition centre, the largest exhibition space in southern Italy, is less than a mile away.

This was a great trip and I was lucky to be in this hotel.
This is the beautifulest city on the world, go there, respect it and enjoy !
Next time I'll be in Naples it will be in this hotel, no way to go elsewhere.

Comfort and congeniality

I spent three nights at the Hotel Cristina and I was very pleased with the choice. The single room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable, taking a shower was not an acupuncture session, the breakfast buffet had a broad choice and what I had was fresh and tasty.
Airco, wifi, tv, safe: every thing was functional and actually working smoothly - which I never give for granted.
The staff was kind and smiling, and making you feel home, . They could not have been more accommodating.
Another plus is that the hotel is less than 10 min walking from the metropolitan train station Cavalleggeri d’Aosta and less than three km from the sea.

Very good, would use again.

I think overall the hotel is pretty good. My concern is the location. It's around €16.5 taxi to the port. It's around a 15 to 20 minute drive to the city centre. It would help if tourist information they hand out is in other languages (not just italian). Parking access is ok, everytime you need to access you need tell reception to let you in and the same when you want to leave the car park (sometimes they forget to open the gate). The car park has around 20-25 spaces.

Needing an Hotel around Naples for an early flight we booked here and was at first worried as the area is not great but this is nice modern clean hotel with good staff and the biggest plus, free gated parking.

We were warned of the dangers parking in Naples and this is a very big factor.

Very near the Metro so trip into centre of town very easy.

For the price this is a great find.
