A great base for the Gulf of Naples and the Amalfi Coast, with breakfast, an Executive room and a welcome cocktail included
Spend a few days in one of Italy’s most vibrant cities at the bright, modern and eco-friendly Hotel Cristina Napoli. Service is prompt, rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean – and to top it all off, you’ll be able to kick-start a day of sightseeing with a strong coffee and freshly baked pastries at the breakfast buffet. Though you’re not slap bang in the heart of Naples here, you are right next to the Cavalleggeri Aosta metro stop, which takes you into the UNESCO listed historic centre in less than 20 minutes. Often overlooked as a mere gateway into the Amalfi region, historic Naples is home to intricate palaces, some of Europe’s finest museums and world-renowned art galleries. Take time to check out the local area too, especially for interesting eateries, including a fantastic gelateria, close by. Executive rooms are mostly neutral in décor with bursts of colour and plenty of soft furnishings. Some Executive rooms also have views over the city. Hotel Cristina Napoli offers breakfast in the Breakfast Room on the first floor of the hotel, serving Italian coffee and a buffet breakfast of fresh pastries, fruit and breakfast treats. There are plenty of dining options in the immediate neighborhood and you’ll find you’re never far from a delicious, traditional pizza in Naples.
In the Area
The Cavalleggeri Aosta metro stop is a five-minute walk away and within 20 minutes, you can be in the heart of Naples, where you can visit the impressive attractions such as the Capodimonte museum and the Madre contemporary art gallery. Local to the hotel, the Mostra D’Oltremare exhibition centre, the largest exhibition space in southern Italy, is less than a mile away.
How to Get There
Good hotel for business trip or holidays, not in downtown but not far from all the other destinations like the stadium or Pozzuoli, 15 minutes walk from the center, clean, nice staff, I did not try breakfast
The hotel is new, very close to the Cavalleggeri Aosta stop of the L2 line. The hotel has a small hall with bar, a relax area and nice, even though small, rooms. In the area, which is not nice, there are shops, a supermarket is close but there are few places to eat. Unfortunately there is another downside. The hotel is in an area of the town far from the center that can be reached only with the L2 line. The L2 line is not a metro line but a railway line, old and rather slow, running to the center every 20 minutes. It could be anyway a good solution for those willing to stay far from the center but after 10 p.m. the L2 line doesn’t reach the stop of the hotel and stops at the Campi Flegrei stop. From there you have to walk 15 minutes to reach the hotel. And this is not pleasant for those who want to stay in Naples till late in the evening.
