Nice for a weekend break ...
Reviewed 6 days ago

We stayed herr for a night of relaxation and enjoyed the nice staff, the great upstairs restaurant with beautiful views and food and the convenient proximity to the inner city of Naples. Rooms are small and OK, but not necessarily 5 star.

Weekend break in Naples
Reviewed 2 weeks ago

We decided to have a weekend break in Naples via an Expedia bundle, more or less at the last minute to find a very good deal. I can only say we got much more than we would have ever expected and could not believe that we actually had chosen an exceptional 5 star hotel with service that was outstanding. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and even though we did not upgrade our rooms in this instance, there really was no need not to. Our room was decorated with beautiful fabrics, very spacious, with a queen size bed and views to both the sea and street. Everything was exquisite and the staff could not do enough for you. We had one meal in there fine dining restaurant and the waiter service was faultless, extreme attention to detail at all times and absolutely spotless, not to mention the food that was amazing. Breakfast choice and service was exactly the same and this hotel definitely deserves this feedback. So if you fancy a quick trip to Naples, it is definitely worth finding a package including this hotel. The area can be busy however the location is excellent and once you are back in the hotel you feel very exclusive.
When I left the hotel I left my jewellery behind and did not realise until I got back to the UK. The hotel could not do enough to assist me in getting my jewellery safely back to me. Never did I have any doubt that my jewellery would arrive back to me, this type of service and hotel staff, were for our very brief stay, excellent. Thank you very much hotel Vesuvio - Naples

Beautiful Rooftop Bar
Reviewed 2 weeks ago

The Grand Vesuvius Hotel has a beautiful rooftop bar, with an incredible view of the Tyrrhenian Sea.
They offer excellent service, delicious olives and fresh homemade almonds.
If you stay here, you must make it upstairs to the restaurant and above it to the sky lounge bar.

A beautiful hotel, but a lot of rough people hanging around outside

A lovely classic hotel with a lovely restaurant with amazing views over the castle and harbour. The hotel has valet parking which is well worth it as parking a nightmare outside.

Easy to walk to main shops, harbour and bars and restaurants.

The food was good, rooms big, bathrooms luxury. Service was very good. Id recommend the hotel and its staff highly.

My only downside which is not the hotel fault is in the street it was full of dodgy looking guys flagging your car down to then try and sell you a parking space in the street parking. I felt a bit intimidated and i wasn’t even looking for a space. The streets were also full of lucky lucky guys trying to sell you junk and fake goods . They need the police to clamp down on this as it lowers the tone of the place.

Id rather have a base further out of the city to tour the whole region of Pompei, Sorrento, Versuvio, Almafi as its all within 45 mins away

Stunning view of the Bay of Napoli

Charming and professional luxury hotel on the water. Highly recommend a sea side view room for the full experience. Comfortable rooms with all amenities. Service is perfect. Enjoyed also the Caruso restaurant for a fine dining experience and the Ground floor bar for snacks.
