How to Get There
Stayed in Hayfield for one night for a mini break to use the spa and have an afternoon tea. the facilities were very nice and everyone was very friendly although it did feel a little forced at times. Food was nice but very over priced as you would expect from a 5 star hotel. The one thing that did disappoint me was the bar. It did not feel comfortable at all which was disappointing. Overall worth staying once for the experience but not sure if I would do it again.
We stopped here for coffee and scones on a visit to the University
Delightful surroundings and attentive staff and the scones served with butter jam and cream were very good as was the coffee. A pleasant interlude!
This hotel provides charm and service in abundance - the Orchids restaurant offering is of the highest quality and the service of the sommelier is an added bonus - suggested wines really did compliment the dishes.
Leisure facilities are also of a very high standard. At a 10-15 minute taxi ride to the town centre makes the location even more desirable. No complaints
I treated my sister to a pre-wedding overnight which included a visit to the wonderful Beautique Spa. From the moment we arrived until we reluctantly had to leave the next morning we were treated like VIPs. All staff, without exception, were extremely courteous, caring, warm and attentive to our every need. I have traveled extensively with my job and it would be difficult to find somewhere to compare to Hayfield! Thanks so much for making it such a special stay!
Beautiful hotel. Excellent staff. Parking available. Food is beautiful. Not far from Cork city easy walk in to town. The only thing I would say. It is a 5 star Hotel and the table we had lunch on had a build up of dirt that was not from the previous people but many people before. 5 star should be spotless. Cracks and crevices on eating tables should not have a build up of crumbs.
