Trip to Guinness Brewery

Location is the key to a successful night in a hotel, then followed by helpful staff and value for money.

We had a early start the next day with a trip across to Holyhead in Wales so this was a perfect location as it’s only a 10min Taxi ride to the Ferry Terminal.

Where do you start is the big question .... Check-in was great service with a quick run down on what was happening in the Gisbon for our one night stay.

Hotel is always great value for money and has the convenience of a Tram line right outside the Hotel for a quick trip to the CBD for dinner.

Highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Dublin ... Keep up the great work.

Nice hotel but very far from the center

The Gibson would be an excellent choice for a Dublin stay but it is so far out from the center of the city that it sits on the LAST STOP of the tram. Obviously, you can take the tram to wherever you're going --or you can take a taxi--but that is not really convenient. Otherwise, the Gibson is a modern steel and glass hotel with the peculiarity that the reception lobby is on the 3d floor and you need to make your way there from the street. Every time you arrive or leave the hotel, you need to take either the escalators or the elevator to the 3d floor lobby and then another separate elevator to go up to your room. Still, if the inconvenient location and the strange configuration don't bother you, it's a good hotel with a nice staff. The breakfast buffet offers a great variety in a pleasant setting.

Great spot.

Stayed here for 2 nights whilst down at a concert. Couldn’t have picked a closer hotel closer to the venue. Literally on the door step! Quite pricey for 2 nights stay but what do you expect at concert times. Great sized, clean rooms with great views and staff where lovely and pleasant and food amazing. Good restaurants and shop near by. Will definitely be returning when The Script make an appearance back on tour.
