Birthday trip
Reviewed 3 hours ago

We stayed here for my husbands birthday.
Check in swift, hotel room overlooked by office blocks but it is in Dublin City Centre. Room is spacious and airy, extremely comfortable bed. No bath but great rainfall showerhead. Very convenient Luas stop right outside the door for a short hop into the centre of Dublin.
Used the copper baths and relaxation area. Baths are unfortunately overlooked by cranes at present so keep that in mind. Didn’t stop us though! Wonderful sauna, been in better steam rooms.
Missed breakfast so can’t comment.
Overall great stay.

Average hotel

The hotel was just average. The front desk staff were not the friendliest. The hotel is located in an out of the way place as well with very limited places to eat other than the hotel itself. The hotel menu is Asian Fusion which if you are a tourist in Ireland is probably not what you want to eat. The hotel was clean. I would not recommend the hotel due to it's location and lack of anything around the hotel.

We'll definitely return!

Last week after work me and my colleagues decided to go for a drink to the Bar of the hotel located in the 3rd floor, the bar was lean, bright and welcoming staff, the place had a nice atmosphere.
The cocktails were amazing, I had the vegetarian green curry option and I have to say that it was fantastic, thank to Ella from the Bar who take care of us, she was the one who recomended the vegetarian options. Kudos to her.
I’ll definitely be back that’s for sure.

Anniversary long weekend.

This is a marvellous hotel, comfy and very pleasant. The staff are really helpful, chief amongst them was Murtagh a genial and soft spoken Irishman who loved his city and recommended some really off the beaten track places for us to visit. We had a wonderful weekend and the Gibson was fab base of operations. Will definitely return.

One nighter

As other reviewers will have mentioned, it is unusual to have to go to the 3rd floor of a building to access reception but lift service is reliable and fast. Clean, bright and welcoming staff were all plus factors for us. The room overlooked the 3 Arena and docklands and we had a spacious balcony. The bar on the 3rd floor had a variety of seating and we enjoyed some drinks there in the evening. We would recommend the breakfast , buffet style presentation, plenty of every thing. As the Luas line is directly outside, the link to the city centre is minutes away. We would stay again.
