How to Get There
We stayed for 2 nights for a city break. Room was clean and bed was big! The hotel is in a good location for sight seeing and the bars etc. In my view it is a bit expensive however I guess that's Dublin. Breakfast was 19 euros each which I think is steep. Would I stay again - not sure - I may find a more cost effective hotel!
Stayed at many Raddison Blu hotels but this is among the best. Superb
location for easy access to all parts of Dublin by foot. Huge choice at breakfast - fresh and tasty to suit all tastes in food. Well decorated rooms. My daughter had a lovely bath in a very deep bath - so much so she fell asleep in it!
My wife and I dropped in on Sunday October 7 because we wanted to treat ourselves to a nice lunch here. We were not disappointed. Lunch was in the bar, where you can choose from sitting on bar stools or at a regular table. One of us had the fish chowder, which was excellent, both in flavour and consistency. The other had the soup of the day, which was carrot and cumin, also excellent. We then had a sirloin steak which was incredible, and came with some of the best french fries (chips) we've ever tasted. Our waitress was attentive and professional and the atmosphere was convivial. Kudos to the manager, Adam, who runs a tight ship. The chef is clearly classically trained. Next time I'm in Dublin, I will certainly consider staying here.
Yesterday a friend & myself checked into Radisdon Golden Lane after an absence of a number of months.
The check in process was so efficient & friendly done by Connor who organized for our bags to be take to our room. Dinner was 5star quality and available at great price (price depends on whether you have 2 or 3 courses) and served by Sam. Breakfast today was excellent - as always - where the Manager Madeline came by for a brief chat telling us about the new exciting extension plans underway at the hotel. Check out was done by - the most charming man in Dublin - Rolandas, who is one of the hotel’s greatest assets! Adam organized the taxi to collect us.
Many thanks to ALL staff at the Radisson & we hope to be back there soon
Thank you so much Connor, Darragh, Sam, Michelle, Madeline, Rolandes for a wonderful stay with my friend Ger, I will remember it forever, may all your dreams come true as you share your time with your guests so generously 👌💐🌟🌟🌟 m
