So so

We booked this B&B as we were desperately trying to find a hotel at a reasonable price in Dublin but for s Friday night it was impossible to find in the city center. We ended up here which was finally more far than expected and not very convenient to visit the City when you have only one day. The good thing is the private and free car park and the possibility to come back over night. Nevertheless we were not very comfortable in there as there is private pictures of the kids of the owner everywhere and the deco is very old fashioned, especially In the bed room. That was ok for one night but not more unfortunately.

From the minute we walked through the door we were made to feel as though we were family! Pat, and his family, are such gracious hosts and the property is beautiful. Also, it is located so close to the electric train that takes you to the heart of Dublin in just minutes. The neighborhood is so quiet and the village of Sandymount is not to be missed.

“Sandy”, the pup, is adorable!

We would definitely stay at the Aberdeen again!

Lovely place to be a home from home

We stayed at Aberdeen lodge for 5 days the staff were so friendly and accommodating, ann and pat were lovely also and of course the lovely sandy!! Breakfasts were also lovely and lovely fast service with tea or coffee available as room service was a lovely touch, my ONLY let down was the bath, needed replacing but that really was the only thing, lovely area and close to the dart for easy commute to the city , highly recommend

We stayed here for 2 nights on the beginning of our honeymoon, it was beautiful, well maintained and the breakfast was spectacular. All of the staff was helpful and kind. It had a very homey feeling but was very nice.
