Something out of a fairytale
Reviewed 6 days ago

My friend and I stayed at Castello Vicarello for two nights and it was not nearly enough! The entire time we were there, we tried to devise a way to extend our trip. When we arrived, we were greeted by Bradley (the GM) and Uva (sweetest dog in the world) and given a tour of the gorgeous grounds. The entire staff made us feel so special and welcome. We had dinner there both nights and it was amazing - their chef is top notch. The entire experience is very intimate - not a large resort, only a few rooms in total. The family that owns the Castello also lives there and you are likely to see them eating breakfast in the kitchen or out picking flowers. Overall, a once in a lifetime experience, though hopefully one that we can repeat!

All the love for this place!

From the moment we arrived at the small gate surrounding their Vineyard, we knew it was going to be a special stay. As we drove through the Vineyard and then parked near the castle we began to enjoy all of the beauty offered in this place. We were greeted quickly by gentleman taking our bags, the general manager Bradley, and potentially the best and most personalized greeting was a wet kiss from their canine ambassador, Uva!
The grounds of the castle Were naturally stunning with sweeping hills of rosemary with purple blooms, olive trees, and beauty as far as the eye can see. The team did everything possible to anticipate our needs and make us comfortable. While our stay was quite short due to travel details, we enjoyed every minute at the castle. We even had a chance after our private dinner to walk up to the terrace and take in stars as far as we could see and listen the sound of snorting wild boars!
Beyond of the natural beauty of the countryside and the castle, I believe the most impressive part of our stay was the service and attentiveness offered by the family and the team at Vicarello - special thanks to Veronica II, Simoh, and the family. They are simply lovely and so was our time spent there.

GEM in the Tuscan countryside

Relaxing! I was taken with the breathtaking views of the countryside from this hidden gem. Lounging by the pool perched on the top of the hillside surrounded by character, beauty and serenity. Doesn't get much better...can't wait to return.

We are sitting in Piazzo Il Campo feeling very grateful for a wonderful three day stay at Castello Di Vicarello. We will definitely return. We were fortunate enough to stay in the spa suite and the combination of views, the best hot tub ever, and incredible food was only surpassed by the first class care and attention provided by the staff to make sure we had a wonderful stay. In short, we loved it. Stay here, you won’t be disappointed.
