Nestled in a secluded Tuscan valley where the rivers Rio and Torrese meet, Villa I Laghi has been lovingly transformed from a tumbledown collection of farm buildings into a luxury property bursting with countryside class. Just under four miles outside the village of Montaione, the villa’s location makes it a perfect escapist retreat, while being close enough to all the essential amenities. You can even dig into a daily delivery of fresh bread and croissants on your private terrace.
Sunsets here alone are worth the trip, surrounded as you are by views of the Santo Stefano lakes and the surrounding woodland. Luxury Italian fabrics and a range of high-end tasteful furnishings adorn each of the villas. You’ll also find a full country kitchen complete with deep sinks of russet granite and bright green tiling. With a seasonal swimming pool and a concierge service to help you make the most of your stay, Villa I Laghi certainly checks all the relaxation boxes.
How to Get There
My husband and I spent a very relaxing and fabulous week at Vila I Laghi in August 2017. I think it's been our best vacation ever! The apartment is very clean and the hosts provide you with the privacy you need, however somehow you can always find them when you need them. The hosts are just great and they guided us to some of the hidden gems in Montaione (definitely worth asking them about the place where the #1 gelatto in the world is found). We also enjoyed the pool that is part of the Vila and the Tuscan views we had from the Vila. You can get by car to Pisa, Florence or the seaside. All in all a lovely vacation where we met lovely people that I really hope to see again!
We have counted our blessings having found Villa I Laghi for our summer break with the family this year. The kids are 21 and 19 but still wanted to join us for a week off in Tuscany...
The villa we got had 3 bedrooms with a nice bathroom and AC each!
2 privat terraces for our use, one for eating and relaxing and another one to enjoy a wonderful Tuscan sunset with a nice glass of wine...
A very nice swimming pool with seats, beds and parasols for everybody!
So accommodation was perfect and probably the finest we have had ever in Tuscany!
On top we were blessed with the most charming hosts Michele and Roxanne, always ready to help with advise for a trip or booking a nice restaurant.
When the accommodation on itself did not convince you yet, the vert personal touch of the host should for sure make the difference!

All the good reviews are true. If you wish to experience a perfect stay at a location - this is it. No need to look further. Great place. Breath-taking view and location. The apartments are spacious and comfortable and clean and very well equipped with all the necessary equipment. Beautiful pool...and on and on...and I did not even come to the hosts Michelle&Roxana who made our stay even more amazing as it already was - even in the best hotels i stayed in i did not experience such a nice welcome, good advice for restaurants and sights, and above all the hospitality.
