Overview

An elegant beachside hotel in heavenly Puglia, with breakfast, daily spa access and a bottle of prosecco

The Lowdown

Do as the Romans do and holiday in Puglia – you certainly won’t be disappointed. Follow the Italians to one of their favourite staycation spots and you’ll find wild beaches, ancient sites and menus crammed with the catch of the day, fresh from the nearby waters.
Away from Italy’s tourist-laden North, the four-star Canne Bianche Lifestyle & Hotel promises its own idyllic piece of Puglia’s impressive scenery. With a focus on nature inside and out, Adriatic Sea views are married with an eco-chic décor to create a cool and contemporary space.
Homemade Mediterranean flavours waft over from the restaurants, that showcases the best local produce at lunch and dinner. The indulgent spa reveals the area’s true beauty, with ingredients taken from the hotel’s garden. The short walk to the beach, just 60 metres away, promises yet more unspoiled beauty. The beautiful Canne Bianche Lifestyle & Hotel shows off its TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence 2014 with Italian aplomb.

Resort on the Water

This hotel was very nice with great comfortable lobby to hang out in. Bar was near and snacks were great. Very good food and service. We were there post season so lack of good weather and cold pool water (20 knot winds and cool temperatures). Everything around the hotel was closed for the season. No beach to walk on after day trips. Careful planning is required on dates of your stay.

We chose this hotel and we could’t be more happy about our decision. Staff is very friendly, everyone speaks very good english and all of them are very professional. Hotel is very well situated, since by car you can reach all the main landmarks there are in Puglia, within max 2h drive. Hotel rooms are excellent we even got our upgraded for free to Junior Suite (thanks again great staff). Breakfasts are very delicious, especially if you are a fan of cakes this hotel is definitelly top choice. In the evening they have a cocktail bar open and they serve very good cocktails, bravo. Though we did not get a chance to try spa, but I am sure it is great too. Staff at reception booked us a nice restaurant on the same street, they booked us a cheese farm tour and over all they did everything for us, even they gave us a late check out option for free.. it was just great. We really do recommend ;) enjoy

Excellent Hotel in so many respects

It’s been a month since we stayed a week at the Canne Bianche and we’re still talking about it!

Wife and I have holidayed in Italy for each of the past 12 years or so in many different places. This was our first visit to Puglia; a very different part of Italy. We came across the Canne Bianche online by chance , it looked good, so we booked it. It really is as good as other reviewers have said. The premises are kept spotless, the staff are exceptionally professional in all their dealings with guests, and the whole ambience of the hotel is geared to making guests welcome and feel as if they were at home.

All the public areas are superb. The T Imo restaurant and the outside lunch time restaurant were very good indeed, such nice places to be. The pool was well maintained (although it should have hand rails on the entry steps, we think) and there were more than enough sun loungers for all to use. Certainly, the best overall hotel experience that we have had in Italy.

There are a couple of issues. The location is out of town so we think a car is necessary. It enabled us to visit other lovely local towns and also use other restaurants all of which were very good and used heavily by locals it seemed (maybe we just chose well!). The T Imo hotel restaurant is delightful but the menu does not change hence the need to get out to other places.

Overall, we had a memorable stay at the Canne Bianche.

We had the MOST amazing stay at Canne Blanche! It made our honeymoon! The staff is the most accommodating staff we have ever experienced. The decor, rooms and spa were perfection. Very romantic with all of the gorgeous white candles everywhere. The food is delicious!! We can’t wait to go back!!

We have been fortunate to be able to stay at some nice hotels and this one is right up there with the best.
All the staff here are the best for attention/ friendliness & help, the hotel should very proud of them & reflects the way the hotel is run.
Dining was excellent with good selection at breakfast & dinner.
Beautiful decor & comfortable room.
A big plus was the 1 hour per day free use of the spar sauna/steam room & jacuzzi
Many thanks to all and for your email Rosita .
