With commanding views of Italy’s legendary Lake Garda, the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence-winning Hotel Olivi Thermae & Natural Spa, on the Sirmione peninsula, begins the inspiration as soon as you arrive. Here, you can simply relax and recharge, whether that’s by admiring the uplifting scenery or splashing out on the naturally rejuvenating treatments on offer in the spa, which is fed by the world-famous Sirmione thermal waters.
Big blue awnings shade the private balcony of your room if the sun gets too much, but we think you won’t want to take your eyes off the awe-inspiring vistas. Closer to home, you can wander through the ancient olive trees in the gardens or lounge with a good book on a sofa in one of numerous terraces and lounges. Ristorante Degli Olivi offers healthy fare alongside indulgent Italian dishes, covering all your hunger bases.
Individually decorated in understated romantic fashion, Classic rooms are homey and comfortable. En-suite bathrooms come with a tub or shower, vanity set, hair dryer, robe and slippers.
Ristorante Degli Olivi is open year-round and offers fine Italian and international dining in elegant surroundings, complemented by an extensive wine list. Two additional restaurants are only open in the summer months.
The Natural Spa is a destination in itself, with a swimming pool fed by the Sirmione thermal waters, sitting at an inviting 36 degrees. The indoor saltwater pool enjoys the same balmy temperature, and there’s also a sauna and steam bath. Massages with essences of your choice, from white musk to chocolate, are among the treatments on offer.
The main draw here is experiencing the curative properties of the thermal waters of Sirmione, but there’s much more to enjoy. Wander the narrow streets of Sirmione’s old town, with its quaint shops, or visit the Grottoes of Catallus close by. Golf lovers will be pleased to know that the hotel offers discounts to the nearby Arzaga and Chervo golf clubs. There are numerous tours that can be arranged from the hotel. The closest is a visit to the Verona Amphitheater, one of the greatest and best conserved Roman monuments. Or you could go to Venice, take a coach tour along the Gardesana (one of Europe’s most impressive roads), embark on a twilight Lake Garda cruise on a wooden ketch, savor the region’s bounty with a wine tour – the list goes on…
How to Get There
This hotel is placed in the middle of the Sirmione peninsula, walking distance from the center and all the shops streets. Very nice SPA, with spring water both internal and external pool. The restaurant was also very good, I recommend to book the half board service since it's cost saving and the chef is great!
Couldn’t fault this hotel!
It’s modern, has all the amenities you require and is very comfortable & relaxing.
Setting is perfect, just far enough out of the town to be away from the hustle & bustle but near enough for a stroll.
The staff are all friendly, happy and look after you very well and the choice of dishes on the menu fro breakfast and dinner far exceeded our expectations!
Loved the fact too that it was “dog friendly”
I visited Hotel Olivi after a bicycle trip in Slovenia and Italy for some relaxation after a busy itinerary. I was very pleased with this hotel, the room was quiet and clean -- I slept so well. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and it is in a good location in Sirmione to walk to all of the surrounding sights. I enjoyed the breakfast -- they pretty much have everything and the staff is incredibly attentive -- I never waited long for a coffee or anything. I also noted that the staff at this hotel is very competent. The spa at this hotel is a treasure -- mineral pool, salt pool with modern steam and sauna rooms. I did not have time to get a treatment, but I am sure they do an excellent job as the staff is helpful and engaging.
Seven ladies, mostly old school friends visited Sirmione, Lake Garda and stayed in the Hotel Olivi for our annual trip. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The hotel is excellently positioned just a short walk away from the shops and restaurants. The hotel facilities and food were excellent and the staff always courteous, friendly and polite. Would we go back..... DEFINITELY!! Totally recommended and can’t wait to return!
This was Our second visit to the hotel and I'm sure we will visit again one day. All the staff are really friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The pool and spa areas are really good and relaxing. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. All round the hotel is first class in a fantastic location.
