With commanding views of Italy’s legendary Lake Garda, the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence-winning Hotel Olivi Thermae & Natural Spa, on the Sirmione peninsula, begins the inspiration as soon as you arrive. Here, you can simply relax and recharge, whether that’s by admiring the uplifting scenery or splashing out on the naturally rejuvenating treatments on offer in the spa, which is fed by the world-famous Sirmione thermal waters.
Big blue awnings shade the private balcony of your room if the sun gets too much, but we think you won’t want to take your eyes off the awe-inspiring vistas. Closer to home, you can wander through the ancient olive trees in the gardens or lounge with a good book on a sofa in one of numerous terraces and lounges. Ristorante Degli Olivi offers healthy fare alongside indulgent Italian dishes, covering all your hunger bases.
Individually decorated in understated romantic fashion, Classic rooms are homey and comfortable. En-suite bathrooms come with a tub or shower, vanity set, hair dryer, robe and slippers.
Ristorante Degli Olivi is open year-round and offers fine Italian and international dining in elegant surroundings, complemented by an extensive wine list. Two additional restaurants are only open in the summer months.
The Natural Spa is a destination in itself, with a swimming pool fed by the Sirmione thermal waters, sitting at an inviting 36 degrees. The indoor saltwater pool enjoys the same balmy temperature, and there’s also a sauna and steam bath. Massages with essences of your choice, from white musk to chocolate, are among the treatments on offer.
The main draw here is experiencing the curative properties of the thermal waters of Sirmione, but there’s much more to enjoy. Wander the narrow streets of Sirmione’s old town, with its quaint shops, or visit the Grottoes of Catallus close by. Golf lovers will be pleased to know that the hotel offers discounts to the nearby Arzaga and Chervo golf clubs. There are numerous tours that can be arranged from the hotel. The closest is a visit to the Verona Amphitheater, one of the greatest and best conserved Roman monuments. Or you could go to Venice, take a coach tour along the Gardesana (one of Europe’s most impressive roads), embark on a twilight Lake Garda cruise on a wooden ketch, savor the region’s bounty with a wine tour – the list goes on…
How to Get There
Stayed here for 3 nights mid-March. Wow this hotel is special,it is a lovely cross between being a chain hotel and an independent. Our room was perfect, very modern inside with a great walk in shower that was powerful. Breakfast in the morning was a buffet style affair with so much choice including cereals, cheeses, cold meats, pastries, freshly cooked eggs, the list goes on. Had dinner here on our 1st night too and that too was nice. Didn’t get a chance to use spa facilities. Would love to return to Sirmione and would choose this hotel again 100%.
I only make reservation for one Saturday in this hotel unfortunately there were some problems with our communication through email. After the confirmation of my reservation I got email with information about changing the price. Fortunately we solve the misunderstanding, with a little negative attitude we arrived to hotel and from this moment everything was absolutely positive! Room, service, spa and lovely breakfast everything very good.
We stayed at the Hotel Olivi for 2 nights. The hotel is in a great location, right in Sirmione old town - approximately 5 minutes walk from the shops and restaurants. Parking was easy to find with lots of space in the car park and we were given a permit on check in.
We stayed in a Superior Double Room with Lake View which was bright, spacious and very clean. The balcony had a table and 2 chairs, perfect for watching the sun set. Our room was not dated as other reviews have mentioned. Breakfast was fantastic, a buffet with large selection of hot and cold foods, cereal, pastries, meat, cheeses etc. And my favourite... help yourself sparkling wine!
Very friendly, helpful staff, great cocktails and nibbles in the bar - Would definitely return.
We had an wonderful stay with Hotel OIivi. All our experience at the hotel was perfect. We booked directly with the hotel. Do not miss the beautiful spa! The front-line staffs were super helpful and gave great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit at a wonderful location.
We had a 4 bedder and the room was tastefully decorated and spacious.
This s very cute hotel and perfect place to relax. We loved all about this place, but can’t not mark superior rooms have wonderful view to the lake, but they re too old in deed, especially bathrooms. King rooms much more fresh, but they don’t have view.
