Family-friendly boutique hotel right on beautiful Grace Bay Beach, with a pool and two restaurants
There’s a straight shot of the white sand beach from the open-air reception area at this pretty boutique hotel, consistently ranked as one of the best in Providenciales thanks to its stylish, modern décor, friendly service and prime position along one of the less busy stretches of Grace Bay Beach. The hotel’s comfortable, condo-style accommodation options run the gamut from studios to four bedrooms, each with fashion-forward, earth-toned décor, comfy beds, and room to spread out. West Bay is a particularly perfect choice for families thanks to kitchens or kitchenettes that make it easy to dine in during your stay. And, while the relaxed vibe makes it easy to unplug, super-fast WiFi means you’ll have no problem staying connected if need be. The hotel has two restaurants: Noodle Bar + Kitchen features lunch and dinner menu with an Asian influence (think Thai chicken and glass noodle salad) and is also where the breakfast buffet is served each morning. Stix restaurant is on the beach, where light local nibbles like cracked conch and jerk-roasted corn on the cob are served on sticks alongside tropical drinks. Hit the small but well-equipped fitness center for a workout or walk over the little bridge from the resort to the sand and go for a long walk down Grace Bay, one of the Caribbean’s best beaches.
In the Area
Swing your clubs at the Provo Golf Club; this challenging and beautifully landscaped course is the only championship option in Turks and Caicos (look out for flamingos in the lakes). Or hit the water with a sail/snorkel excursion with Ocean Outback Adventure, where an afternoon aboard the glass-bottomed catamaran includes a trip to an old pirate cave. Hungry? Hit Da Conch Shack. It’s a bit on the touristy side, but it’s a must for mollusk-lovers with dishes like conch salad, conch fritters, conch chowder and more. For a gourmet dinner head to the glamorous restaurant Parallel 23 for a romantic alfresco setting, a state-of-the-art display kitchen and boutique wine list.
