A sleek boutique hotel in the scenic beachside town of Hua Hin, with dining and spa extras for longer stays

The Lowdown

Set in a sleek three-story building surrounded by landscaped gardens and just minutes from the beach, Loligo Resort Hua Hin has all you need for the perfect getaway. Named after the resort’s famous seafood delicacy, this hip retreat offers comfortable, modern accommodation and a range of luxe facilities. You can take a refreshing dip, hang out by the pool bar, watch your cares bubble away in the outdoor hot tub or treat yourself to an indulgent massage in the spa and fitness center.
Lounging in the sun isn’t the only way to spend your time here (though perfectly acceptable) – you’ll also have a range of culinary delights and tantalizing nightlife to explore. First of all, the hotel’s two restaurants will have you covered, with a wide range of local, international, gourmet and casual options. And for drinks, Squid Ink Bar and Sailor’s Club provide everything from mid-day cocktails to late-night revelry. You’ll also be staying conveniently close to Hua Hin Town, providing even more eating and entertainment options for you to choose from.

Stretch out in a luxurious Mini suite, which measures in at a spacious 560 square feet and comes with pool and garden or sea views from the private balcony. The suites are tastefully decorated with high-end, contemporary furnishings, as well as all kinds of modern conveniences, like high-speed Internet and flat-screen TVs.

The hotel’s daytime dining option, The Captain, serves a creative breakfast buffet in the mornings and a menu of classic comfort foods from lunch to late afternoon. Meanwhile, the on-site deli, A Caravan, is open 24 hours a day for snacks and light meals. During the day and after dark, you can enjoy delicious cocktails at Squid Ink Bar or Sailor’s Club. 24-hour room service is also available, with a full menu provided by the award-winning kitchen of Let’s Sea, the hotel’s sister property, next door.

The Blue Coral Spa is a tribute to Thailand’s world-famous healing arts, offering everything from body cleansing and traditional massage to hot herbal compresses. Whether you stay for an hour or the full day, you can expect to leave feeling refreshed and relaxed, especially if you indulge in a 90-minute aromatherapy massage.

Thailand is famous for its honeymoon-worthy beaches, and Hua Hin Beach – just steps from the hotel – is among the best. Romantic strolls, horseback rides and kitesurfing lessons are among the many activities to keep you busy on the beach. Local sights include Klai Kang Won Palace, a 20-minute drive away, and Marukhathaiyawan Palace, a 30-minute drive. You’ll also be right next to the hill of Khao Takiab, known for its panoramic views and the Buddhist shrines perched at the top.If you’re up for a more serious adventure, take an hour’s drive to Khao Sam Roi Yod, Thailand’s first national park. Or, go a bit further to Pa-La-U waterfall, a 16-tier waterfall surrounded by dense forest, where you can cool off in one of the many pools and listen to the sounds of gibbons hiding in the ancient trees.

Friendly service, staff very helpful
Clean rooms, bar and food areas - looks exactly like the photos
Pool refreshing, but be quick at people claim their chairs early.
Only negative is that room towels are a bit raggy, but still soft
Bed comfortable.
Breakfast has a bit of everything, 7am to 11am.
7/11 - turn left out of the hotel facing the road, walk to the end and there’s a dirt track, cross the road- no more than 5 mins
Cicada market - turn right out of the hotel follow the road around and it’s on your right - no more than 5 mins
Beach - go through the hotel til the end of the road
Would be happy to stay again.

Fabulous hotel

We are 3 ladies from the UK and still at the hotel. It is an excellent find. The staff are lovely, so friendly and helpful & always smiling. The room is plenty big enough for the 3 of us. The sunbeds are comfy & we really appreciated the iced water that the girls kept topping up through the day.
We used the free transfers to Hua Hin town.
We all loved the breakfast, Good coffee & plenty choices of food, all fresh.
If you book directly with the hotel you get the free mini bar also.
There are 2 markets within 10 minutes walking distance of the hotel where you can find lots of food stalls & live music.Tamarind market is Thursday to Sunday and Cicada is Friday to Sunday
We would highly recommend the Loligo hotel it is quiet and very relaxing.

Attentive and friendly staffs!

Appreciates the attentiveness and responsiveness of the receptionists, waiters, bell boys and valets. They were alert at all time and would greet us with smiles whenever we leave/enter the resort. Moreover, they were really helpful in helping us to communicate with our driver who was unable to understand English. Thank you for the great hospitality and pleasant stay.
