Enjoy the soft light and elegantly faded details of Porto from the panoramic rooftop and comfortable interiors of the Premium Porto Downtown. Relax and recharge in bright, modern rooms with all the facilities and personal attention you would expect from a four star hotel. Premium Porto Downtown features charming contemporary details throughout, fluffy bathrobes, marble-detailed bathrooms, and a spacious, stylish sun terrace.
The excellent, central location in the historic centre of Porto means you are in walking distance of the best of the city; blue azulejo facades of ancient towers, churches, and train stations, restaurants and cafes where you can sample traditional Portuguese fare – don’s miss the custard tarts and Francesinha, Porto’s famous beefed (or sausaged!) up Croque-Monsieur. Winding through the centre, the mighty Douro river and its Eiffel-esque Dom Luis I Bridge connect you to the famous Port wine cellars and the delicious tastings within.
How to Get There
I arrived here late at night and the area did not look great, but it is a good location with a few good eating areas in the region, if your preference is to eat away from the hotel.
But please try the hotel restaurant on the 8th floor.
The staff are welcoming and the rooms are very good.
The breakfast on the rooftop is a graet way to start the day and the food was good.
Great central Hotel, ideal for walking around this great city, by far the best in Portugal. All of the staff were very helpful, or was it 3? I checked in early and they made the room available and were able to accommodate checking out very early in the morning. Would use them again.
Good hotel with pleasant staff. The room was a bit small for two beds, but it was clean and comfortable. The bathroom had the usual toiletries and a good rainforest shower head. The breakfast buffet was decent, but it could be improved a bit more with fresh fruits and pastries. The hotel is walking distance from various small shops, restaurants, coffee shops, churches, touristy points and metro.
Good location near main shopping st and lots of good restaurants The hotel has good clean rooms ,very helpful and friendly staff.good sized rooms and bathroom only downside small wardrobe space.Good buffet breakfast
I stayed last week with 3 friends, loved Porto and will return. Probably not to this hotel. With a little more thought to the customer this could be an excellent stay.
2 of us had towelling dressing gowns , the other 2 flannels!?
There was a shortage of coffee in the room and when asked for milk sachets a jug of hot milk was delivered.
A hairdryer blew up on my friend, apart from apologies and a room move, nothing else was given nor was her well being checked on the following days.
The terrace is cold in the evening, only 3 blankets were provided for all guests.
