Overview

Lakeside fun and mountainside adventure at a family-owned B&B - includes a dining voucher

The Lowdown

The only thing Ehrhardt’s Waterfront Resort overlooks, management likes
to say, is the water. Every detail here is thoughtfully placed to ensure
that your stay is enjoyable and that you get everything you want out of
your stay in this region. Sleep in one of the TripAdvisor Certificate
of Excellence winner’s comfortable rooms, sample its complimentary
breakfast, or stop at the restaurant for a filling lunch or dinner, set
to those stunning Lake Wallenpaupack views.
In the evening hours,
hit the late-night pub for cocktails, trivia and live music; the rest
of the time, explore greater Hawley. Given its location, the property
offers some of its own activities, like shuffleboard, paddle-boating and
canoeing in the warmer months, but it’s the Poconos that keep the fun
going year-round. Ice-fish, ski, sled or snowshoe in the winter, or hike
and bike to the top the mountain trails in spring, summer and fall.
Speaking of overlooks, you’re in for some of the best views in
Pennsylvania.

Rooms and suites

With contemporary furnishings and views
of the peaceful surrounding landscape, your accommodation at Ehrhardt’s
Waterfront Resort is a welcoming retreat after your days of mountain and
lake adventure. It’s stocked with all the necessities you’ll need
during your stay, like a small refrigerator, microwave and flat-screen
TV, as well as air-conditioned. Choose the Standard room for two double
beds, or upgrade to the king suite for more space and a king bed.

Dining

A
popular spot among the locals, with its dock-and-dine options,
Ehrhardt’s Waterfront Restaurant is perfect for when you who want to
kick back and relax over stunning lakeside views, enjoy a casual
atmosphere and sample from an extensive menu. From sandwiches and wraps
to steak and brisket, its classic American dishes are satisfying choices
at lunch or dinner; for later-evening options, the Late Night Pub Grub
features drink specials, live music and trivia nights – all just steps
from your room.

Location

From Lake Wallenpaupack
to the Pocono Mountains, this northeastern region offers adventure for
every season. Experience great downhill and cross-country skiing in the
winter, discover the beauty of spring on a hike or bike ride through the
wilderness, go trout fishing (a favorite activity among the locals), or
explore the lake and all of its adventure – including sailing, jet
skiing and swimming. Or, choose from a catalog of day trips, themed
around local festivals, food tours, entertainment and more.

Nice, quaint Motel. We went in April and it was not crowded. We had a nice room with a perfect Lakeside View. There is a walking path directly to the restaurant. I don't know what it is like in the summertime. I understand it can get very crowded.

Wally Wine Fest

So we stayed this past weekend for the wine fest... very disappointed how that was run. Been to lots of wine events and this by far was the worse🙁 Also found most of the staff ignorant and unwelcoming .The staff at the dock were rude and seemed to have an attitude . Liam the bartender was by far the best very pleasant and best thing there. Never would I stay again. Most of the staff need need attitude adjustments!!!!!

Our family rented a cottage in August, 2018 and last night we spent a night in Room 10 after a very enjoyable Comedy Night and dinner! The lake was obviously frozen but simply BEAUTIFUL! Staff was wonderful, dinner was delicious, show was hilarious and the room was very clean! Highly recommend Silver Birches!

Arrived Sunday March 3 around 6pm for a one night get away... Snow was coming down! Rose was amazing and helpful even coming out in the storm bringing us matches for the votives on the wall by the two person jacuzzi tub! Simply divine!! We stayed right next door to the check in office and enjoyed being so close!! The room was beautiful! Fireplace was incredible and sheets.. bed... divine... most of all the view!!!! The snow looked magical coming down all night. We received a complimentary bottle of champagne for my birthday and breakfast at The Dock. This restaurant is amazing! Look at the spread included in the stay!! I can’t say enough about our experience!! Read the little comment page I wrote in the guest room memory book!! What a nice touch!!! WE WILL BE BACK!!!
