The only thing Ehrhardt’s Waterfront Resort overlooks, management likes
to say, is the water. Every detail here is thoughtfully placed to ensure
that your stay is enjoyable and that you get everything you want out of
your stay in this region. Sleep in one of the TripAdvisor Certificate
of Excellence winner’s comfortable rooms, sample its complimentary
breakfast, or stop at the restaurant for a filling lunch or dinner, set
to those stunning Lake Wallenpaupack views.
In the evening hours,
hit the late-night pub for cocktails, trivia and live music; the rest
of the time, explore greater Hawley. Given its location, the property
offers some of its own activities, like shuffleboard, paddle-boating and
canoeing in the warmer months, but it’s the Poconos that keep the fun
going year-round. Ice-fish, ski, sled or snowshoe in the winter, or hike
and bike to the top the mountain trails in spring, summer and fall.
Speaking of overlooks, you’re in for some of the best views in

How to Get There
Attended Diversity Rocks for HRF. Food was delicious! Staff was extremely attentive! Ample parking, diverse buffet spread! Nice decor and ambiance! Have dines there in the past, and food was great! 2 thumbs up!
I came here for a two night stay. Sherry at the front desk was very helpful. My room was upstairs beside the pool with big windows overlooking the lake. I was pleasantly impressed with the size of the room and it’s furnishings. There was a beautiful jacuzzi tub inside the room with the bathroom next to it. All newly remodeled. Chic but not pretentious. On their website they taut luxury sheets which i really didn’t care about until i got into the bed. Very, very nice. Huge down pillows too. The grounds are wonderful. I imagine they are even more beautiful later on in the summer. They give you a voucher for a free breakfast at The Dock Restaurant adjacent to Silver Birches which was both convenient and the food was exceptional. I will review that separately.
I highly recommend Silver Birches Resort. I will definitely be back.
Booked an impromptu last minute weekend at Silver Birches. They didn’t have a dog friendly room available so they moved some things around to accommodate us.
The staff is incredibly friendly, the location is perfect. The lakeside bar is a wonderful hangout with both resort guests and locals. Fire pits, small pool, docks, different levels and options for housing and an incredible view on Lake Wallenpaupack. We stayed in the Bunkhouse. Clean, comfortable bed, lovely view. It’s a perfect relaxing spot for a weekend getaway or longer. We will return. Thank you!
