The only thing Ehrhardt’s Waterfront Resort overlooks, management likes
to say, is the water. Every detail here is thoughtfully placed to ensure
that your stay is enjoyable and that you get everything you want out of
your stay in this region. Sleep in one of the TripAdvisor Certificate
of Excellence winner’s comfortable rooms, sample its complimentary
breakfast, or stop at the restaurant for a filling lunch or dinner, set
to those stunning Lake Wallenpaupack views.
In the evening hours,
hit the late-night pub for cocktails, trivia and live music; the rest
of the time, explore greater Hawley. Given its location, the property
offers some of its own activities, like shuffleboard, paddle-boating and
canoeing in the warmer months, but it’s the Poconos that keep the fun
going year-round. Ice-fish, ski, sled or snowshoe in the winter, or hike
and bike to the top the mountain trails in spring, summer and fall.
Speaking of overlooks, you’re in for some of the best views in

How to Get There
We were greeted by Jenna Simpler with a warm & friendly greeting. The room was gorgeous, exceptionally clean, and had a beautiful view of the Wallenpaupack Lake. The Dock is easily accessible to enjoy great food, drinks, & entertainment.
We spent 2 nights in their lovely Inn 12 room. It was very spacious and clean. The living room had a breathtaking view of the lake, and the electric fireplace was a nice touch. They offered a complimentary breakfast at the nearby restaurant. The service at Silver Birches was excellent!
This boutique, quaint resort is exceptional. My parents and I stayed in a Junior Suite on the 3rd floor of the main Inn. Breath-taking view of the lake, two large rooms and a modern upscale bathroom. The staff accommodated all of our requests - provided a microwave and a kettle for our room. There was a complimentary campaign toast around sunset. The fire pit was lit all night outside by the lit Christmas tree. The common living room was warm and cozy with a fireplace, decorated with an exquisite taste. Just a wonderful experience. I'll attach pictures.
We stayed at the Ledges but took the opportunity to purchase a day pass for ourselves and the three grandchildren. A perfect day helped, so we spent several hours in and out of the pool and walking the grounds. My 13-year old and I took kayaks out on a choppy lake and had a great view--mostly of boats tied to the many docks. It's hard to find any "open" coastline on this lake.
There is lots of wasted time between activities. You had coffee and cake upon arrival. About 45 minutes you make a pretzel. Another 30 minutes until lunch is served. Dancing music is played during almost all the time other than lunch. There is a long stretch until the entertainment starts. Needs some more activities added in to fill the void.
