How to Get There
For the last 7 years my wife and I and another couple do city trips in Europe. We've been to Paris, Prague, Vienna, Berlin, Krakow, Lisboa and Budapest.
When we compare the hotels we've stayed in then this hotel is the best.
Friendly reception ("Ciao Ragazze :-) ) and staff helping you to make the most of your trip, an excellent breakfast buffet, a spacious clean room and bathroom.
One evening we had dinner in the hotel. The dinner was excellent as was the wine, suggested by Francesco.
The hotel surprised my wife on her birthday with a little birthday cake and a decorated bed. You're not a number in this NH hotel.
This is the best hotel we've been to and if all NH hotels are as good as this one, then selecting a hotel for next year's city trip will be easy.
First off, I was surprised by how spacious the rooms were. We had only a standard room but it was quite roomy by European standards. The bathroom was nicely designed -- good water pressure, a variety of toiletries provided (including a separate bottle for hand cream), and towel rack warmer. But the bathroom cleaning was not fantastic -- upon arrival, I found pieces of hair on the floor and some colored smudges around the sink. Check-in process was seamless -- the people at the front desk are either a little cold but courteous OR very warm and helpful people. The hotel restaurant servers were the same, either cold yet courteous or very warm and lovely. My husband noticed this about the hotel staff as well. The gym is surprisingly very nice and has a mix of cardio machines (not just treadmills), some weight machines, and free weights as well. And each cardio machine has its own private nook with a view over the city so you can exercise without someone next to you. The signage to the gym/fitness center, however, is not well marked at all. We literally walked around circles trying to follow the signs and then had to go to the front desk to ask -- you have to walk to the other side of the building, access a different elevator, and then take it to the 5th floor (none of this is written on the signs). I took a star off also because the air conditioning in our room was barely felt. We had it on 19 degrees (about 66 Fahrenheit), which is the lowest that it goes, and we were still fanning ourselves a little. It felt like maybe a fan was on but not the a/c (it also did not help that there was a heat wave in Europe). Location of the hotel is very central and you can easily walk to a myriad of restaurants, cafes, and shops.
Beautiful hotel in northern Italy. Walking distance to many squares, restaurants, museums & shops.
Delicious breakfast which was included. Friendly staff. Great outside bar to enjoy an evening beverage and snack.
