How to Get There
We have just returned from 10 days at Manathai and loved every moment.
We had a family room with bunk beds and a PlayStation for the kids, although they didn’t play as we spent most of our time exploring and enjoying the resort and beach. Our room was clean and spacious. There was a slight smell when we arrived but I think that’s because the room hasn’t been used and closed up for a while as it’s the down season. We were on the construction side and while in the room we barely heard anything as the gentle hum of the air conditioning sounds it out. And while outside we occasionally heard something but it was never disruptive.
Because it’s the low season it felt like we had the place to ourselves sometimes, it was pure bliss.
The pool area is beautiful and very well set up with chairs, the bar and restaurant and clean toilets. We enjoyed quite a few massages in the hotel beach huts too.
Our kids loved the kids club and kept wanting to go back, the ladies were so friendly.
The beach was always cleaned in front of the resort and we enjoyed beach walks and watching the hermit crabs. Many other guests swam in the ocean.
The absolute standout of the resort was the food and staff. We planned on eating in the restaurants around the resort but after we had a few meals within the resort (both Colours and Pad Thai) it was clear the food was the best standard and absolutely AMAZING! I love Thai food and this would rate as the best I’ve had, the flavours are so authentic. The cost is obviously a little more than restaurants out of the resort but not ridiculously expensive. We had so many favourites, but the Pad Thai was outstanding. Breakfast was always delish with a great variety and selections.
I loved the food so much I did 2 cooking classes, I was the only one booked so it was a one on one class and I learnt so much, I can’t wait to cook again at home. And at the end of the class I shared the meal with my family.
Finally the staff, they were so friendly and helpful... nothing was ever too much and they always went above and beyond our expectations. Always with a smile. We can’t thank Manathai enough for our wonderful family holidays... we’ll be back!
We stayed at Manathai Khaolak for 1 night with my friends, we booked for 2 rooms, i am so much impressed first, the staff was very friendly & helpful also fantastic view from lobby. i will recommend this hotel to my friends.
I stayed there for 1 night, but have so much impress of warm welcome staffs and beautiful view from lobby. Room is spacious and nice decoration, but there is a bit musty from wood decoration. Wide swimming pool at beach. We did had dinner at Thai restaurant, taste is really good, but disappointed there is no vegetable menu except salad. Breakfast is quite nice.
