How to Get There
Stayed here because of a wedding. The hotel is very large with wonderful staff members. Everyone we came in contact with were super friendly and accommodating. Parking is valet at $49ish for overnight parking. We arrived a few hours before check in and they had a room ready for us. Check in is late at 4pm. Checkout was at 11. The room itself is spacious with a very comfortable bed and large bathroom. Our view was great on the 11th floor. My only compliant about the room is the bathtub. I feel it could have been cleaner. There is also a mini fridge that is stocked (very expensive though!). The lounge was very nice to hangout in after the wedding. Close to many landmarks. Overall, I would definitely stay again if I was in the area.
The building is obviously quite old, but recently refurbished and well maintained. The room we had was very spacious and well appointed, but the curtains can't be fully closed so the morning sun woke us up each day. Also the housecleaning staff were very noisy in the hallway slamming doors over and over, and over again.
All staff members went out of their way to help us feel welcomed, comfortable, and happy to be in Philly. Located in the best part of town, great historical sites within walking distance, and many great restaurants to choose from. By the way, great bar contained within the hotel.
This hotel is perfectly located right in the City Centre and is everything you could want for a short city break in Philly. I asked for a room on the upper floor and the view didn't disappoint. The only negative was that the pool was closed for maintenance the 2 nights I was there,,,, which was annoying but the gym was still open. Overall however this didn't dampen the experience.
I recently stayed at the Loews Philadelphia for three nights while attending a conference. I was very impressed with the whole experience, especially the very comfortable, spacious room. The public spaces and conference facilities were top notch.
