How to Get There
poor lighting in the room. no dresser in a $500.00 a night room. we expected a first class room for the price. we certainly did not get that. staff was polite but said it was an old hotel. the trip from the elevator to the room was an excursion. i would advise another location.
furniture needs cleaning and restaining. Felt dirty. room service and room cleaning was terrible. hard to sleep when the vent over your bed is also over the bed next door. You can hear everything over the vent above your head. Just a poor place to stay
I missed out on the valet parking, however self-park was easy to maneuver. Unless I miss understood the sign on the wall stated self-park was $35.00 however, I exited the lot and was charged $55.00. That was disappointing. No one at the front desk discussed anything about the car park and the procedures.
The hotel is lovely. Nice sized rooms. I do think the bathroom was clean but could definitely use a deep clean. The edges of the sink and along the walls were filled with dust. The table in the bathroom is stained an undesirable color. I was turned off and didn't use that to rest any of my items on it.
The bed is comfortable and the staff wonderful. I was there for a business function. The food was horrible. So sorry to use such a strong word but it was tasteless and arrived cold. No choices were given. It was pasta, red sauce and hard juiceless chicken breast. Not sure what it was supposed to be. Dessert was lacking creation. A glass filled with whip cream and strawberries. At least the few strawberries were tasty.
The location was good and the carpets is the halls smelled pleasant.
Hotel is centrally located. Wonderful if looking to park your car and walk to dinner or used Taxi/Uber/ etc to get around city center Philadelphia. Rooms are very clean and spacious. I enjoyed my past stay and most current stay at The Hyatt Bellevue Hotel in Philadelphia. I worked a conference with Trade Show in the Ballroom. The layout is a challenge due to the
Classic hotel is the top of the tops....great Junior Suite with a bar in the room and raised platform bed. Staff were awesome when we came in and worked to ensure that our every need was taken care of. The Wife and I always feel pampered at The Bellevue at the Hyatt!
