How to Get There
This was a 2 night Spring break vacation with my kids, ages 10, 6, 4. We had a 2 Queen room with Sofa bed and it was a great price, the room was clean and we had no complaints. the waterpark area was under construction, which we knew in advance, so not a big deal. The pool area is still bigger than most hotels so the kids were happy. It was a nice touch that on the Friday before Easter the Easter Bunny was sitting in the lobby with Candy for the kids to get photo ops or just say hi. We will definitely be back.
I stayed at a suite. The room is spaceous. I love the pool and game room. My kids had a great time there playing.
The hotel food is amazing. We had continental breakfast, lunch and dinner there. I had one minor issue with a dirty sofa bed sheet and it was taken care of right away with one phone call. Thank you for good customer service.
This is a good hotel but the breakfast was appallingly bad: Stale crossants, desiccated scrambled eggs; unkempt waiters; water for tea served in a grubby plastic flask; cereals served in cardboard boxes; poor seating that sank to such a degree that you could hardly see over the table when eating.
On checking out I brought these issues to the attention of the receptionist. I also pointed out that it was as though the restaurant was run by a different company. I also opined that what was going on in the restaurant was damaging the Double Tree brand.
'I'll pass that on' she responded airily. I think she didn't give a damn. Sad.
Lancaster Doubletree Resort- Took my mom and mother-in-law as a gift to see Sight and Sound Theater show and spent the weekend here. Loved it and will return again next year!
Great location. Beds were heavenly!
Our large extended family was gathered to celebrate the 90th Birthday of our Mom. The DoubleTree Resort Lancaster was extremely accommodating! Their welcoming staff went over and above to help make our stay enjoyable!
