How to Get There
We visited The King Jason for a week long Easter Break with our 5 and 6 year old sons. We chose the hotel based on TripAdvisor reviews, and have to say they are very accurate. The hotel is great if you just want a week of guaranteed chill out time, with all guests and staff very pleasant. Not one bad moment the whole week. The front of house were great, chefs always on top of the food, and waiters and waitresses were superb, in particular Sula is an amazing woman and a credit to the hotel, but all staff equally brilliant. Thanks for a lovely week.
We have just returned from this wonderful hotel, the hospitality, food, rooms and surroundings are fantastic, its true what the reviews say everyone goes that bit further to make your stay memorable. The only down side to the hotel is inconsiderate guests who do not think adult only areas apply to their children. As from the 1st of May this hotel will be adult only, we hope that this will be great success and a new and exciting future for all the staff. We wish you all lots of luck, love and happiness in this new chapter.
The service especially on the restaurant was likely the best we knew, and comparing to the more expensive networks, staff very friendly. Food was excellent. Jacuzzi in the SPA and the Gym - everything was very good.
We stayed at the King Jason 3-10 April with our children, aged 15 and 11 years. A last minute decision to go for some relaxing time together as a family and we were not disappointed.
We were looked after from the moment we walked through the door, Maria Ainsley greeted us with cava and ushered us into the restaurant.
Andreas and Maria catered for my fussy children and arranged for them to have anything they wanted at meal times, nothing was too much trouble and always with a massive smile from Maria. Food was delicious, lots of choice, piping hot, served in covered containers rather than traditional buffet style. Staff were very efficient at clearing away dirty plates surplus to requirements and replenishing drinks.
The hotel inside and out was spotless, staff worked extremely hard to keep it that way. If I had a criticism it would be that the main pool was freezing cold.
We chose this hotel based on Trip Advisor recommendations, originally we wanted a beach hotel but after reading reviews we chose this hotel.
The surrounding area is nothing much but we knew that when we booked, that was the compromise,.we are so glad we picked this hotel, The care we received from the staff beat any 5* hotel we have stayed in and Andreas should be extremely proud of his hotel and staff, he shows his staff respect and he receives it back from them.
A fantastic hotel with incredible staff......we will return and thank you all so very much for looking after our family.
The King Jason is a lovely hotel to stay in. The standard of food and drink and the attentiveness of the staff are first class. Andreas and Maria were lovely in the restaurant as well as all of the bar and waiting staff. We stayed in C block. The rooms were clean with good facilities however the table and chairs were a bit large and got in the way sometimes. The lift in the block was a bit dodgy and we had a few incidences when it didn't work but we were only on the second floor so no problem really.
The pools and poolside furniture were very nice although we didn't go in because the weather wasn't too great.
My only gripe is that there doesn't seem to be a dress code for dinner and I don't like to see men in shorts, flip flops and vests at dinner however this is a personal opinion.
Overall very good indeed.
