How to Get There
Lovely hotel. Room was absolutely out of this world so clean . We didn't get to the hotel till very late due to a delay at Manchester airport and on arrival we had sandwiches etc waiting in the fridge for us. Andreas and Maria are lovely people and make you feel so welcome. All the staff in the hotel are so friendly. The free shuttlebus to the harbour is good and he tells you were to be picked back up on return to the hotel. Food is gorgeous and there is a different theme every night. The lady in the restaurant called Maria is so lovely and always greets you when you go for a meal and make sure you are ok. We liked the hotel that much we booked for next year already to celebrate our honeymoon. This hotel well and truly deserves a 5 star review.
This was our 6th stay at the King Jason and it never fails to impress. Fantastic food, facilities & accommodation. The Staff are exceptional, big thanks to Andreas, Maria, Maria & Jimmy. We will be back again as soon as we can!
Just returned from 10 nights at the King Jason. Booked purely from the great reviews and I would agree with everything already said. The hotel is really clean, the staff are amazing (Andreas and his attention to detail stands out) and the extra touches are really nice e.g free beach bag. The food is good, only small amounts cooked at each time & the desserts are amazing. There was only one day we didn’t manage to get a sun lounger (this was at 10am) but the rest of the days there were beds still free all day.
The location isn’t that great but I knew this before going, you can walk to the tourist area down the road (10 mins) or get cabs to nicer parts (about 8/10 euros to the harbour area).
Booked direct with the hotel and got a great deal so would recommend.
Overall would definitely return.
Couple of points that could be improved:
- the shower in our room was a bit dated, would be nice to have rain shower etc that you usually get in 4/5 star hotels. The water pressure tended to drop off and come back.
-the saxophone player one night a week was good, maybe an additional evening on music or some music just being played in the bar for bit of atmosphere.
We have just returned from a weeks stay at the King Jason, we were a family of 3. We had private transfers from Paphos airport and took around 15 mins each way. On arrival there was a lovely welcome from Maria followed by a nice glass of pink champagne and a chocolate. We were taken to our 1 bedroom suite, which was very spacious for the 3 of us. Really nice and comfy and clean. Wet room in the suites would be better than a bath as is a bit tight but this did not detract from our stay just an observation. The Hydro Pool was lovely with the jets and made a nice change, the main pool was lovely too which is where we spent most of our time. Plenty of choices of drinks both daytime and evening, milkshakes were amazing too, and loved you could get pink fizz when you wanted. Food was as the same standard as restaurant best All Inclusive food I have had, always hot and fresh. Andreas is always around making sure everything is just perfect. And all staff look after you. This really is a nice little gem. We did get the bus to Coral Bay one day and this was only 1.50 euro bargain. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
After a trip to the King Jason last year, it was a no-brainer that we were going to return this year for our annual summer holiday but for 10 nights this time. On arrival we arrived approx 11pm therefore we had missed dinner, the receptionist informed us that there was something for us in the fridge - two sandwiches, crackers, cheese, an apple each and a bottle of sparking rose (KJ are good at the little touches that other hotels don’t think about).
Yes, the price may be a lot more than you would pay at some other hotels close by but it is 100% worth every penny! The food is to restaurant standard and is absolutely gorgeous, there is so much choice - you really wouldn’t go hungry!!! There is a different theme every night including Cyprus Tradition, Flavours of the World, Gorgeous Gourmet, Latina, Italian, Taste of Asia & finally (my favourite) Carvery on a Sunday! At first I wasn’t expecting much for a carvery abroad but how wrong was I!!!
The pool area is always clean and tidy with plenty of sunbeds for all guests although the beds around the Hydro pool seem to get taken pretty quickly. The pools are a nice temperature (main pool being a little cooler and more refreshing than the Hydro pool).
Both times we have stayed the rooms have been a great size, huge beds and very comfortable. House keeping do a great job of keeping everything nice & clean.
All of the bar staff are brilliant, the receptionists are very welcoming and finally, Andreas & Maria (the hotel managers) are so friendly and kind! Andreas really is an honour to the hotel! See you next year KJ!! x
